Don’t think that will be far off Sniff. With CHO having played 2 full 90’s in a week, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench and share the game time with Elanga. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - wassy04 - 28-02-2025 Nuno will know how fit they are but 5 days break is decent. I think we should only be resting players if they're genuinely too tired to play. This is a big game, we need to win to build momentum before the City game and this is a prime opportunity. Basically we should maximise our chances of winning and making anymore than 2/3 changes does not do that. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sausage Roll - 28-02-2025 Omari Hutchinson won't play against us after the horror challenge he suffered against Man U. Kalvin Phillips will be out also. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 28-02-2025 Glad Hutchinson is out because he is a class act. He was definitely Ipswich Town's best player in November against us. I think he is a player Forest should be keeping an eye on if they go down. Hutchinson and Delap are both players we should be interested in RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Fumanchew - 28-02-2025 Villa have only made 5 changes from their prem starting 11 against palace, I think that’s a number we’ll probably make too RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - zicorice - 01-03-2025 I want to win the FA Cup - even though it has been scandalously devalued this season- so would go fairly strong. Took Villa a while to find their rhythm even with those changes but they got the job done in 90 minutes which is key. Don’t want to see a repeat of Exeter with a completely rotated team then having to panic and bring on people you wanted to give the day off to and make them play extra time aswell. We have Man City 5 days later, the last thing we need is a gruelling 2 hour slog, Im convinced Exeter was a contributing factor in our performance vs Fulham. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 01-03-2025 We weren't properly prepared for Exeter. I think we travelled down there on a grueling bus journey one day after a weeks jolly up in Dubai and a nine hour flight. RE: Nottingham Forest - Ipswich Town - wassy04 - 01-03-2025 For me, I'm not seeing it as just whether we win or not. I think this is a prime opportunity to build some confidence ahead of a run of games where we will need to win a decent chunk. The likes of Aina, MGW, Anderson would benefit having a game where they can dominate and reassert themselves after a tough run of games. |
