Gave a good account of themselves (We did as well in the second half against and arsenal team that took the foot of the gas) could control the ball under pressure, more passing plays were evident, played high up the pitch and like true Sheff Utd teams were very full bully boy mode. Mine was more of an anti Sheff U post than pro Forest! One shot on target, 0.39 xG at home against an average team. I thought they'd be slightly better than that. They were lucky not to concede more, Palace missed some great chances. I'm sure it'll be a tight game, particularly assuming we match them up with three at the back. I suspect everyone will be moaning after 30 mins! RE: Nottingham Forest - Sheffield United - Mcforest - 15-08-2023 I think the moans will only come if we don't look like we are doing anything. if it's tight and 0-0 or even 0-1 down. As long as we are showing we are evolving and trying to play the fans will be supporting the manager and the players. That part of the lineup looks good to me! All those players are where they play best, and they are all on the pitch at once. I would be absolutely amazed if there is any moaning in the ground on Friday, unless we are 3-0 at half time. The atmosphere in the ground is nothing like here or social media. Oh yeah I know I was referring to in here! Most certainly Elanga, mgw and taiwo up top RE: Nottingham Forest - Sheffield United - wassy04 - 17-08-2023 (17-08-2023, 01:49 PM)northeastred Wrote: Be interesting to see the line up tomorrow. It'll be the same team as last weekend, except Taiwo will come in for one of Yates/Danilo/Mangala I would imagine. Unless Felipe/Niakhate are fit enough to start. Or if it's not that close this could be a prime shop window. Teams were interested last week and he still played. Would also be a pretty big statement if he just wasn't involved at all. RE: Nottingham Forest - Sheffield United - Username - 17-08-2023 It’s a real shame that the Johnson stuff didn’t wait until next week. We really need three point’s tomorrow. Brennan strikes me as the kind of person who will make himself unavailable if there is a real prospect of the move happening. I honestly think Brennan's not the problem and he'd probably just want to stay here and enjoy playing for his team in the prem. Its the people who are advising him though. I agree he wont be playing tonight. |
