Anyone criticising the spend by Aitor need only look at the above to realise the investment needed just to stand still.

Good grief. I seriously wonder if Warburton deserved manger of the year for keeping us up with that crap.

The worse thing is the team looks stronger with Mills sent off.

I know we are seriously off topic here but who cares, it made me look up the match report
https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/2016/december/newcastle-3-1-forest/

A few surprising facts.
That team was holding top of the table and eventual champions Newcastle to a draw until Mills did his specialty.
Dumitru scored!
Ahmedhodzic came on as sub.
Forgot we still had Britt that year , why on earth was he a sub.

It’s entirely relevant to the thread though.

One of the largest gripes it seems of Aitor by the fan base appears to be what he has spent. It was evidently needed.

The money in football is so boring. Who cares if a team spend £1 or £1 million or £100 million, it's all just numbers. All that really matters is the team.

I don't care how much he has spent on players, what does matter is the players that have been brought in and if they are good enough and if the team is balanced.

Think it might be significant that Steve Bruce looks like he's going to take the Sheff Wed job today. I feel certain he fancied coming to us instead and was holding out.

Fair play to you, its a shame that more fans don't look at it that way.

The Premiership will be a hollow 'victory.'

Give me the mid to late 70s in football.

Aye.

That said, he was caught on camera standing to applaud that Murphy goal.

Not smiling though.

I am pleased Forest are prepared to spend money, definitely a good thing especially if good signings like Grabban, Lolley and Colback loan, the Portugese looking poorish value at the moment but we don't really know who signed these players and potential complex shenanigans also nothing to do with AK

There are many playing staff issues which seems a big problem, though if AK went now I think the problems will seem much worse

..... If only AK could sign Ollie Burke and bring back Joe Worrall …………………
