I read someone saying that there is nothing he can do stood on the side.., it’s his fooking job to get them to play bloody football. But the team are hindered by the tactics. They play the way he sets them up to play. It hasn’t worked for the majority of his tenure but rather than change it he sticks with the same system and the same players. Grabban as captain is a joke.

CH can do one.

And as for EM leaving putting us into administration.. That won’t happen if he sells us. And, as I hear, there are interested parties. But what will happen if we get relegated... and that is exactly where we are heading

Its also the job of the other 23 managers to play football too. Only one team can win. How many new managers will it take before you accept that maybe its not that easy to come in and manage this team?

Also, not going to bother speculating on random interested parties. Of course its complete rubbish, what idiot would want to buy a football club that loses 30m a year BEFORE the pandemic even hit.

Yep.

Sanity prevail.

Today's result will be a decent one if we win the next game.

a point today did nothing for us and benefitted everyone around us, if anything Barnsley was more of a winnable game than Coventry, but yeh 2 teams who are young and full of enthusiasm and Coventry would be more than happy with a point and last time out were very unlucky not to get something from the game

Everybody knows how Chris Hughton will set up, will give a subdued non vocal player the captains armband and will replace like for like on 87 minutes, i think this plays into the hands of the opposition, hope i'm grotesquely wrong, maybe Coventry have a pile up of injuries and there for the taking and they don't look at any of our last 20 games

They also seem to finish games strong, they did today, from a goal down and unlucky not to win it, so hope Samba has his clock running down A game

A point did something.  Not losing is important.  Especially when you're not playing well or face injuries. Every point counts.  It keeps us around the other mediocre teams.

All that from an injury ravaged 1st team.  We broke our Barnie losing hoodoo voodoo.

Should have won it 2-0.  Hard to blame Hughton for the Grabban misses or knocker not burying a one on one.

Coventry. Next?

Love your positivity SA.

Let’s ignore the 2 x pens that, on another day, the ref might have given Barnsley.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Barnsley - Strawberry Avenger - 30-01-2021

Speaking of positivity...

It looks like Hughton's patience with certain aspects of our squad is at an end.

For the record? This only Hughton's 3rd signing.

And comes with a promising resume.

I suspect we'll push for a couple more by Monday's deadline.

On the bright side Krono couldn't stop smiling.

Opinions eh Pap.
I thought that the enforced substitution weakened us dramatically.

Have to say I agree, he looked much slower than Sow. Passing was fine but not got the tackling ability of Sow

I thought he tried hard made 2 maybe 3 nice passes to get us going forward, but generally looked out of his depth- could be that he is struggling to get up to speed with being out so long- but on the day, definitely out of his depth.

I should add I desperately wanted him to be good, so probably looking a bit too positively on the basic passes he did, but in that position he was off the pace, won very little on the ground or in the air and his yellow boots made it obvious as he ran into the picture a second or two later than needed.

The table is depressing reading tonight, underestimate our position at your peril

RE: Nottingham Forest - Barnsley - GaribaldiRED - 30-01-2021

Forest are still 9th in the form table. We will be fine.

awful decision if true making the side run down the clock to hang on for a point, i hate to confess i sort of enjoyed it under Sabri at times mainly because we were often merely hanging on, but in the context of results we were merely helping out virtually all the teams around us and above us

was putting Mighten on after 87 minutes merely to run down the clock?  Why not make a triple change after 70 minutes and give a few a rest for Tuesday

Yates didn’t play mate

RE: Nottingham Forest - Barnsley - Strawberry Avenger - 31-01-2021

Krovinovic did. Very positive play from him.

Impressive debut.

A nice young man.
