RE: Are We Going Down? - Salvatore Matrecano - 25-01-2026

Well if you like ppg or not, apologies its worth a look

I make that 20 points from 15 games under Dyche.

There are 15 games left which is neat, so another 20 gives us 45 points. (The highest total ever to be relegated in 38 game season is 42.)

It may be a painful watch at times but keep going as we are is surely the objective.

RE: Are We Going Down? - oh no - 25-01-2026

I think the cup games cloud our view on what Dyche is doing, but when we play our first team we're easily a mid table Premier League squad. It's just the likes of Bakwa, McAtte and Morato aren't playing above Championship level which kills you in those games. We need to play on the counter, stick to our strengths and hopefully bring in an Elanga paced attacker who can bring us forwards (I really wanted Brennan back) and we'll be closer to 10th than 20th come May.

I think after weathering some contrition these next at least 3 games are gonna be important, but those around us haven’t got it good, we beat palace and then they’re fighting those that could go down with them

This is some good perspective. I’ve been as guilty as anyone for the doom and gloom, but a lot of that is due to the Wrexham and Europa League games. The season has to be about staying up and reevaluating in the summer. We have enough quality to do that

RE: Are We Going Down? - Paplane - 25-01-2026

Leeds, us and West Ham are dragging Spurs and Palace into things. Both of them are just 3 points away from us. Spurs have got Man City and Palace have us next weekend.

RE: Are We Going Down? - Sausage Roll - 25-01-2026

If us and Man City both win that would make things very spicy.

If we can continue with that ratio then we are looking at another 17 points from the remaining 15 games.....total 39 points not counting draws. enough to keep us up??

if my Maths are crap then sorry. just trying to grasp a positive.

How’s it looking now?

Haha, its funny, its always the same people getting the clever little digs in, can see why sniffer has took the break, I never jump on people's posts, because everyone has there own opinions. And its nice to read them, but you always get someone who likes be constantly right or constantly on someone's case.. we won, enjoy the moment, dont let somes wrong post make you feel you have to be clever about it for an extra win

Not sure if you are including me in "the same people getting the clever little digs in" Thought my post was one of hope and optimism?

RE: Are We Going Down? - Simon - 25-01-2026

February is going to be a massive month

RE: Are We Going Down? - Mcforest - 30-01-2026

I would say our next 3 games will be the ones that saves us or sends us down. That is how big those ones are on paper.

RE: Are We Going Down? - Stojanm - 06-02-2026

Really, really hope we stay up but if we don’t how many of this squad will stay with us. You’ve got to think that Anderson, Murillo, Gibbs-White, Williams, Milenkovic will go

We’d have plenty of suitors for Aina, Sangare, Hudson-Odoi, Wood and Jesus

Would be a complete team rebuild and a real struggle to come straight back

RE: Are We Going Down? - Mcforest - 06-02-2026

Oh I agree we ain't coming back up if we go down. Not a chance
