Think they would aim higher to be honest.
He would fit their system/general model in terms of the types of managers they hire.
Who would they realistically be able to get who's higher? Thomas Frank? I feel like Cooper is worryingly in their wheelhouse.

This is a bit conspiracy theory but could it be why Cooper hasn't signed a new contract yet?
Apparently the decision to sack Tuchel isn't a knee-jerk one and they've been considering it for a while. So it follows they've possibly been considering approaching Potter for a while. So.....

I think I probably would too if I was him! Brighton are pretty well established already, play a similar system etc. Would certainly have a lot more security. Not to mention they're currently 4th!
Lets hope this remains fiction, probably the only team in the league that are small enough that would appoint him but that are high enough that I think he'd want to go to. Typical

If he were to go I wouldn't blame him. They're a more attractive proposition than us at this current point in time. Anyway as you say Wassy this is all conjecture.

The timing is terrible, if it happens in a few weeks and we've won a few games and started to settle then he likely would stay regardless. Just feels like there's a window right now where he's slightly more vulnerable.
