Hahahahaha Liverpool have enquired about signing Alexander Isak.
Not that I have any love for Liverpool but the Newcastle fan meltdown about Liverpool fans mocking up pictures of Isak in their kit - which is EXACTLY what Newcastle fans were doing with Elanga - is going to be joyous to behold.

EDIT: So because Newcastle won't sell Isak to Liverpool then Liverpool are now muscling in on Newcastle's main target Ekitike.

I've just seen that Brentford tickets go on sale from tomorrow.
Standard adult prices are between £50 and £70 quid which I think is absolutely disgraceful.
Has this gone up from last season? Im a season ticket holder but I'm sure they were 40 odd quid last year.

Cat A games were £45-£60 last season, so yes it is a hefty increase

In this day and age when it is well documented that people are struggling financially, how can the club justify increasing ticket prices by 11% and 16% respectively?
Was the increase to Season Cards the same amount or are the club hitting those who cannot attend every week, or cannot afford the upfront outlay or who simply cannot get a Season Card due to none availability harder?
I appreciate we will be playing in Europe next season, but there is still the likelihood it will be in the Conference and not Europa, so can the type of opponents we may be seeing at the City Ground justify the price hikes?

You can get angry at the club but it's just the way premier league football is these days.
These new psr rules mean that every single pound generated by the club matters.
We're all loving the premier league atm but is it really better now for fans than it was back in 1992? I don't think so personally as it's taken away the ability for clubs like ours to be successful over a number of years.

It's got nothing to do with PSR and it's got nothing to do with our stadium size. It's greed and nothing else.
If we moved to a brand spanking stadium they'd put the prices up and people would say ahhhh it's because we have a new stadium.
Most people on here (including me) reaped the rewards of fair ticket prices as kids and then season tickets as teenagers and adults ect ect. What will it do for the game if the next generation can't watch their local professional team?
And on top of that people pay 100 quid for membership to pay 70 quid for a ticket.
I'm falling out of love with the game.
