Or maybe the players no longer want to play for him? They may think he's ran out of ideas, or too nice or plenty other reasons. That yesterday was not a team fighting for the manager

Also his refusal to play the loan signings.
Both Montiel and Santos could at least be given a chance.
Aurier has been poor and our midfield is creating nothing but he refuses to play our loans.
There are issues and problems within the squad and it won't end well.

I think we’re at the point where we will have a new manager before Christmas. So probably one of:
Lopetegui - the name that won’t go away. I would be surprised if it’s anyone else.
Glasner - highly rated and played a successful 523 formation with high pressing, so would probably suit the squad we have at present. Also on the way up.
Wildcard manager - Fernando Diniz - We do like the Brazilian market for players, so why not managers too? He is tactically unique and very highly rated. Won’t be long before he’s managing in Europe

An extension/ B side of my broken record with regards to excessive signings, change of system and lack of stability is that this will cause division behind the scenes. What I said about Worrall is true, they might sort it but it happened.

Steve Cooper is good with people but he isn't the Messiah. There's only so much instability that can be thrown his way.
I do however, think away games are better for us at minute. We play more defensive and there's less expectations. I desperately hope Cooper gets a go at Fulham and Wolves because I don't think this mess is his fault.

You can’t be serious with your final sentence. We have played Burnley, Luton, Sheffield United, Everton at home, our results in those four games simply isn’t good enough.

I completely agree these are the games. But I'll stand by my broken record and say that if we didn't change style and excessive personnel for the Burnley, Brentford and Luton games we would be in a different position.
Who forced the change of style and excessive personnel remains to be seen, it could be cooper or upper management.
If Cooper is still our gaffer come Fulham I genuinely believe an away game is better for us right now. But I agree a different manager would have produced different results at home against the lower teams. I just don't know who created the mess. Id say mostly upper management.
Cooper will take the fall though we know that.

We saw that last season.
Those results are on him regardless of everything else.
I’m personally dreading the trip to Fulham. I won’t get in until 3am and have a looming feel of dread.

I dont believe there's any issues with Cooper's man management, he appears to be one of the best in the game for that kind of stuff. He brings people along with him.
For me, where there is an issue is pure and simply the way he sets us up. At the beginning of last season we tried to play decent football and were simply trounced as a result, similar to what Burnley are experiencing now. Then, to his credit, Cooper decided he had to stop the rot and play his low block game. It was exactly the right thing to do. It steadied the ship and to his credit he made something of the newly found resolve from the team and got a few good results.
But this season is different. That football was survival football. This season we have to make some progress and players have come in who can do that. Unfortunately Cooper cant seem to make that next step up. He's tried to play progressively at home against Sheffield, Burnley and Luton and the team has looked poor. He seems lost when we set up that way. His low block, backs to the wall game is fine (at least when Taiwo plays), but when he have to go at teams we look very poor. Its almost like he's haunted by the start we made last season and now can't set a team up to go out and win a game any more. He's just rather not lose it.

Yes I agree with you there fair enough. The manager has to go with the lineup and system to win regardless.
I have massive sympathy for him with regards to the last transfer window though. It reversed a lot of hard work.
Part of me thinks if you are going to do it do it. But the reality is we either get a win in the next week or a new gaffer.

You'll always have 1 or 2 unhappy at not being in the picture, (say Worrall & McKenna) but we've created problems for ourselves here.
Santos seemed like insurance if Sangare didn't go through, but he did. We're overstocked in midfield, our strength. So Cooper has to handle it.
We signed 2 keepers who wanted to be no 1, so Cooper has to handle it.
We signed a 4th? right back, and he was poor in the minutes he did get. So Cooper has to handle it.
Tavares hasn't impressed.
Guy from Norwich was surely a development project. Murillo has jumped in, proving Cooper will play youth if he thinks you're good enough.
Sort out these problems in January, by returning loans, letting players move on or sending a player on loan for the cases above. But don't throw Cooper overboard.
And as poster says, reduce number of new signings as we get our squad established.

Marinakis buys a whole new squad every season, he’s done that well before Steve’s time. Steve just asks for better players. There’s no way he’s behind the silly windows bullcrap
