Some of the abuse Bong has received on Twitter etc is a disgrace. How some can treat one of our own players like that is beyond me.

Agree with that Sniffer. I have said we badly need a new left back which is true but some feel the need to make things pretty personal and it looks nasty. Bong hasnt been training with the first team until this week and I assume he isnt up to speed yet, therefore CH put some minutes into his legs yesterday which is fair enough. My opinion is he is too slow to be a first choice left back but he is a specialist in that position, can tackle well and actually puts in a decent cross too. Bearing the lack of options in that position we may well end up with him as cover in the squad.

It's not his fault if he's on 15K p/w and I would say he's just about an average Championship left back but that doesn't really matter. There is no need for people to abuse him over a game that was nothing more than a training exercise. At the end of the day he's a red.

He was nowhere near as bad a signing as Jenkinson who cost £2M more, is on higher wages still and a longer contract despite having a worse pedigree and playing fewer games for us.

Yep Jenkinson might actually be our worst ever signing! Or Da Costa, or Arter (depending on how much we actually paid)

If people are that worked up over a training game they need to take a longer break away from football. Probably forever would be a good start.
Moaning about players not being good enough is one thing but abusing them is a totally different ball game and not needed here at Forest.
