Just seen the 'highlights.'

To be fair. Forest were lucky Reading didn't score two goals. Two glaring chances.

The goal they got 'ten seconds later' after Watson scored?

Cash is ball watching (a lack of experience at RB?) instead of just putting foot through the ball/player or committing a foul or something. ie. STOP THE CROSS!

Fig' sticks his leg out at a stretch not in control and diverts it in.

And...Samba is beaten at his near post.

3 howlers there.

One to watch back in the training sessions video.

It was just a waiting game for us to nick it, 95 minutes of perfection, didn't concede when playing well, forged a move together when generally under the cosh and scored.  Forget the 10 seconds after that.
Is pure belief and passion and determination that get us goals, the amount of times Worrall and Watson get involved and force the play and then the goal out of sheer will to win, they are right up there with assists and goals yet surely more like base camp than performing at high altitude?

Amen mate.  Superb summary in the last few sentences (I'd chuck Cash into that mix too).

We all knew the score. Effort & drive from the stalwarts, whilst a glaring lack of creative quality & guile let us down again.

Meanwhile, 13m worth of player can't even get on the bench. Just sell Carvalho and give Lamouch, not Modesto, the money.

Have we even been linked with a pacey, creative winger yet?

This seasons Gil Dias moment?

We can't blame Dias for this one.

I had a ropey kebab last night , i blame that c**t for that and anything else shit that happens.

Force of will.  I've mentioned this before.  And it's something our Academy products have.  They're mentally tough.  They 'might' not be Messi...but they're not lacking in ability either to be playing in the 1st team of the Championship and sitting 5th.

But ultimately, even that isn't enough.  When Rib', Ame' and Silva were...well, see Jock's player ratings for details.

We need pace, creativity, street smarts.  Battle proven experience.

Help us, Forest recruitment.  HELP US to HELP YOU TO HELP US.

The Coach and Grabban each week?  Trying to get the Forest ACM to perform...

Following Forest.  A pride swallowing siege.

God...Help me....  (Forest fan hanging on by a thread....for the last 20 years....'Help me...help me...')

Remember when...getting back to the guy playing this game...for the joy of the game...

It was't just about the money, was it..?

That's the difference between a promotion winning team nd ...us...
Another 2 points thrown away...and a chance to get to within touching distance of the top two...we end up looking at our shoulders...nd a play off spot a bit shakey...
Mr Sabri you need to go on to that phone call Mr Marinakis nd tell him to splash the cash...final third is that of a relegation od mid table quality...mark out of the game Grabban nd ...we have rely on ...Watson to score a goal...
Nd not being able to defend the lead for 20 seconds!! That is criminal ....
Nd by the way...Grabban should have scored ...again.. a chance like he had should be converted with ease...if you are deemed quality striker ...or at least to get a penalty...his control was sunday league level...
I m so pissed off...throwing points away like that ...ruins

We came away got a point off the form side in the league. 2nd half we were hanging on. Grabban was immense up top today, feeding off scraps. I'm in Reading supporting my team by the way waiting for a train home. Shame we couldn't hang on after nicking a goal, but another good away point. Ref was rubbish as usual here.

Reading fans are idiots. Was sat quite near them, lots of Millwall style gesticulating and stuff, and when we scored some lad in a very distinctive coat was very aggressive making all sorts of threats. Saw exact same coat at Train station, was very quiet, despite my attempts to engage him in civilised conversation......
Zico ....I admire your commitment...but my guess is that you were to far away from the pitch ...Grabban contributed nothing in the first half nd in the second squandered a one one with the keeper
Well, I suspect I was much closer to the action than thee youth!  Agree, he missed his only chance of the game (which came about from him forcing an error out of their defender), but his work and all round play was decent, despite no support.

Silva is a good player, but not a 10, he buzzes around, links up play, but has no final ball in him. Grabban fed off scraps and still almost scored, but for a very good intervention by the keeper and then a defender on the goal line.

Anyway, not going down this road again answering your constant negatively and over the top digs at our players and my team.

Grabbans record as a Championship striker is fantastic. Calling his control "Sunday league level" is disrespectful and wrong. Have now seen chance on TV and it is exactly as I remembered it live from my seat "far away from the pitch" (as opposed to on a small screen). Good hand from keeper and defenders back on line. No striker buries every chance or every single one on one, especially at this level.

The radio commentators from reading were very complimentary of us . Calling us a very decent side.

Still disappointing to lose out 2 points again but we are unbeaten now in 4 games which we all would have taken

Thats pleasing to hear. Because we see them all the time I think we perhaps underestimate how good we are.
I saw a bit of qpr yesterday. They are playing the football we were 2 years ago. It was utter garbage.

RE: Reading v Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-01-2020

A decent performance yesterday away against a decent side who are unbeaten in 8 games I think.

A good point and we are 1 point closer to second place. We are also starting to put another good unbeaten run together.

2 winnable home games to come now against Luton and Reading.

Lots to be positive about. My glass is half full.
