Garner needs benching and I would give Fornah a go. Swap Grabban into the role Taylor is doing - Taylor swap for Lolley or Mighten . Keeper - felt for him just hoof it lad, did everything else OK. Why on earth did we risk Soh at RB - never looked comfortable. Fin Back all day long. If Derby can survive with what they have no reason to believe we cant we have some good quality but not utilised or motivated effectively. Some questionable team selections. For me its time to pull the trigger RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 16-09-2021 Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - McDurban - 16-09-2021 Well wasn't last night fun. Horvarth is a dud. He finally got his chance at the number one jersey and he simply is not up to it. Brennan is not good enough for this level yet IMO. Has his moments and I'm sure he'll improve but not good enough yet. Neither Grabban nor Taylor can play target men roles and win the ball when punted up to them. Mbe Soh is not a right back and struggled all night. Lowe is okay. Yates and Garner huffed & puffed. We are so screwed. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Uwantlee - 16-09-2021 Unfortunately it was all very very predictable. Yes CH changed the formation but the tactics are the same. There’s no running in to space or through channels. There is little desire to move the ball at speed. The players look out of ideas and fail to create clear chances... but we all saw it coming. Confidence is at an all time low and the players need a lift. 7 games gone now. Any talk of top 6 gone. We’re very quickly moving towards relegation battle. 10 games is the mark... by then you know what your season is going to look like. We win 3 games we are bottom mid table. We lose 3 and we can start looking forward to league 1. CH has to go today. The fans turned on him 4 games ago. The owner needs to do something as it won’t be long now until the fans turn on him too. Some already have. My mood is a grey as the sky this morning. I almost feel resigned to relegation and am telling myself it will be for the best... this is terrible. The love for the club and for the game is slowly being eroded by this once great, now mediocre football club. A combination of years of poor ownership, poor management and inept players. I don’t want to watch forest. I don’t want to watch football. I won’t be watching or listening to forest now as long as CH is here. Thanks to the club for making me feel this way RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Paplane - 16-09-2021 (16-09-2021, 07:15 AM)McDurban Wrote: Well wasn't last night fun. Agree we're screwed now. You dont just start winning football matches from where we are at this point. The manager has to go. He wont be able to turn this around. We need an impact. Re you points in the players, Horvath looked very nervous. His footwork with the ball was terrible. He couldnt handle the high press. His distribution slow too. Hes got Mbe Sow to thank for that fairly poor backpass but any decent keeper will have dealt with it. Dont know where we go from here keeper wise. I thought Brennan had one of his best games for us. Was a continual threat until the side conceded the 2nd. Easily had the beating of Peltier. Peltier got booked, Brennan should have been given balls knocked over the top to expose this. Grabban and Taylor reverted to type. Despite lots of endeavour, nothing stuck when played to them. Mbe Sow looked uncomfortable all game. I can see why he'd be picked but it didn't work at all. Yates had plenty of energy as usual but cannot play passes forward. He cant dribble the ball forward either, he goes diagonally to the corner. Garner was shocking. His set play distribution was dire. He passing poor, I cant think of naything good to say about him this morning. I honestly dont know how a manager picks this lot up now. Garner needs to play and find fitness fast, one of our few opportunities to see an improvement, bringing in some kid with no experience is not the answer RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Salvatore Matrecano - 16-09-2021 (16-09-2021, 07:51 AM)wassy04 Wrote:(16-09-2021, 07:01 AM)ac_vodka Wrote: Pretty sure Silva got his head on a ball and picked up run from a long pass in 5 minutes which is 2 more things then Taylor did all match. We know Taylor cant for one, drop him, we will never score with him up front. Silva had some pace that we lack, want to see him out wide not centre forward Stop playing Grabban as a number 8, he barely crossed the half way line Wont dig Soh out too much, you can see why he was picked against a Warnock team, poor back pass though. Which leads me to Horvarth. What on earth? Every time he received the ball at his feet he took a touch and wanted time. Presumably he had time in MSL, this is the Championship mate, Worrall gave him a right bollocking 1st half when he very nearly did exactly the same thing. More than anything we need a manager who can instill some confidence and a fighting spirit. |
