RE: The Premier League - Trailer Park Tom - 25-05-2024 It feels good RE: The Premier League - Fumanchew - 25-05-2024 Bet some Man Utd fans still want rid of ETH RE: The Premier League - Trailer Park Tom - 25-05-2024 (25-05-2024, 05:01 PM)Fumanchew Wrote: Bet some Man Utd fans still want rid of ETH Yeah and to be honest I don't care what happens with them. Just sick of city and wanted to see them shake think up. RE: The Premier League - DR Forest - 26-05-2024 Roll up! Roll up! Sale now on! Everything must go before the end of June Put LS11 0ES in your satnav and come browse! RE: The Premier League - DR Forest - 26-05-2024 We had a free pass last season (and didn’t we need it). Well there’s another one this season if we can get our house in order. Soton won’t threaten us, Ipswich will be next season’s triers and Leicester will start on minus points. Get the recruitment right and we can push on significantly RE: The Premier League - The reds - 26-05-2024 All 3 managers coming up are new to the Premier League, they will all need to change style of play to have a chance of competing in the Premier League. And there's still a decent chance that two of the clubs will be bedding in new managers anyway. Sounds like two of them will be moving on anyway! RE: The Premier League - Mcforest - 26-05-2024 I'm not getting overconfident in anyway. We beat the odds and stayed up even though we were deemed the whipping boys before season started. Then this season we held onto our status with fingernails against the worst bottom three combined in the PL history. We were tipped by many to go down this season, We finished on 36pts without a deduction keeps us up 9 out of the last 10 seasons. We belong in the PL. We now have a manager who has finished 7th,7th and 13th over 3 full seasons in the Prem. It looks like we will have to sell our best player before 30th June which means we are unlikely to get full market value. From where i am sitting i don’t see our position changing much. I would settle for 17th next season right now. A third of our points this season came against those three worst teams. That is unlikely to happen next season. Then this season we held onto our status with fingernails against the worst bottom three combined in the PL history. The reason why I am confident we can stay away from the drop next season is because since Nuno has come in we have been playing way better football. Plus we are 14th in the 21 games Nuno has had. Have you seen Ipswich Town's team, They need serious work to be competitive Leicester are in worse shape than us. There breach is higher and if Percy is to be believed they could start on -10. Southampton, Need to change the way they play, Russell Martin's style won't work. Last time we played one of his sides we won 5-1. |
