Because of course a hard up club like Man City need it…. It should be split based on league position bottom to top. And do Ipswich get any of that or just the other 17?
If Ipswich don’t then Man City would get 1% which is 1.03m
We’d get 10% which is 10.03m
Though I’m sure there’s a fairer way of splitting it down then I have.
Would that go towards the psr shortfall we have?

Mr Chew, I would assume any payment via the PL would be classed as income in the accounts and therefore form part of PSR!

A few simple wishes for next season:
Smart financial wheeling and dealing means we hang on to MGW and Murillo
A SENSIBLE summer of transfer acquisitions, about 6 incomings including a striker an experienced centre back and a full back coupled with a few astute loans.
Nuno starts the new season with a PL first of Forest coming in on the right side of a 5 goal thriller.
He follows this up with another first of being able to see out some games for draws and narrow wins. We start to look organised from set pieces.
Off the field things are remarkably quiet, the odd decision goes against but it evens out and we follow the Clough doctrine of respect for the referee.
We announce we have bought the freehold for the CG and planning progresses for work to start on the PT stand next summer.
Nuno guides us to a solid if unspectacular 12th place.
We all enjoy ourselves a whole lot more for it.
Is all of the above really too much to ask????

So we really got 36pts this season, 2pts off last season. We scored 11 more goals and conceded 1 less, GD bettered by 12. Our overall competitiveness has been much better, it hasn’t been backs against the wall in every game.
For me
Best Performance was Fulham at home
Best Win was Man Utd at home
We beat Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Sheffield United x2, Burnley, Man United, Fulham, West Ham.
5 teams in the top half, just need to improve against the teams around us next season. 3 seasons in the Prem seemed a pipe dream a few years ago.

All the heartache, hand wringing and working out permutations we went through over the last few weeks of the season.
Thought you might like to know we actually had enough points and GD to stay up courtesy of our 2-2 draw with Wolves on 13th April.

14 points were from the relegated sides. That is what kept us up. We need big improvements next year on points from teams in mid table. We get the odd result against top 6 because of our home support. We also need to manage games better. When we have the lead to close out the game and shut it down. Comes with experience…

Keep us going talking about actual football rather than simply looking at Forest transfers etc?
