He was. I assume back in fold due to Blackett injury.

I’m sure Bong/Carvalho/Yates was to blame for conceding the 2 late goals according to peoples own favourite scapegoat.

Definitely SM :D

Bong getting the blame on twitter despite being no stream or no commentary for the game.

Wow, judging the players by ESP, thats some going!

Actually Im a bit annoyed we dont still have Knockaert so I can blame him!

Did you not see how Carvalho pulled out of that tackle for their equaliser?! He just can't cut it mate :D

RE: Pre-Season 2021/22 - ozzyten10 - 24-07-2021

That was such a drop off when bong came on - and what on earth was Cafu doing on the wing? - a bit worrying from going today.

Positives-
Brennan Johnson is a baller - faster with the ball than without and has excellent touch and vision.
Grabriel - very good going forward
Colback - industrious
Mckenna - solid
Lolley- looks back to his best

Negatives-

Ou4 pressing isn’t good enough
Mighten was bullied
Bong was shocking
Grabban isn’t a 10

Enjoyed it for 60 minutes then we were crap

RE: Pre-Season 2021/22 - ozzyten10 - 24-07-2021

Their full backs were quite good and their number 7 was one of the best players on the pitch…

Who was playing up front then if grabban wasn't? Also, I cant believe a left back would really have that big an impact to bring the team down!

It really did. Crewe we’re good too - tried to play football and I was impressed with both their full backs and their number 7.

I thought people were just desperate for a scapegoat but after watching the goals I have to agree that Bong really should have done better on both goals. Lack of motivation maybe?

He knows he’s on his way out so he’s hardly going to be motivated.

RE: Pre-Season 2021/22 - Salvatore Matrecano - 24-07-2021

Just seen the goals, thoughts.
1. Can someone please hold a gun to Brennan’s head and make him sign a new contract.
2. We desperately need a new left back.

Shouldn't his wages be enough of a motivation for him.

Or trying to convince CH that he does have a future at the City Ground. failing that, putting himself in the shop window to attract other clubs on the look out for a LB

Grabban until Brennan came off and Taylor came on
