Disagree, I think it shows an acknowledgement that we're above where expected and also that we've done well despite the limitations of the squad. Plus the fact that we've no depth in wing back/striker/centre back. Also, we played a lot of top teams before CH left which is skewing that stat (not the discredit the team since then) just to point out that stat does not take into account strength of schedule.
You can twist and turn it every way you want but the facts remain the same.
The facts being we had a tough start where we played Blackburn, Bournemouth, Cov, Stoke, Boro plus Cardiff & Derby. Therefore, we have had comparatively easier matches up until the last game against Boro.
Two games against two now top 6 teams and we lost. There's no need to panic just accept we will get less points against better teams.
Yes. And. Yes.
The only thing that will change that (perhaps) will be '3' (I think more...) quality additions of the 'Zinc Man' standard in key positions. LB. Striker. Winger.
I'm not convinced about CH. CM. I think we're missing something in both positions.
Sounds like Forest are in for a Premier (1st Division folks...) RB.

Sorry Wassy not picking on you but this bit I disagree with. Both those teams were behind us before we played, both have only got into the top 6 by picking up points at our expense.
To be fair I maintain Boro were excellent, many people saying how poor we were but I think we ran into a team at the top of their game. Hudds on the other hand are bang average apart from a couple of decent players and we were at home, can’t afford to lose these games if we have genuine ambition.

Haha I was wondering whether anyone would pick up on that part! I did think it too, I've just been getting frustrated at people ignoring the quality of the opposition in our results in general. Huddersfield may not be the greatest example though you're right.

It is fine margins. Just as it was at the start of the season. And those fine margins are overcome with coaching, recruitment and Lady Luck.
Huddersfield weren't great but they still beat Forest.
Boro' weren't 'great' but they still beat Forest. (We gave them one of the goals... However, Howson at the tender age of 33 bossed Forest's midfield. And they took full advantage of Colback at LB for the 2nd goal. Ironically, if we'd had a LWB and Howson type player in our set up, Boro' don't win.)
Similar defeats for the goals. CM off the pace. CHs didn't deal with the goals.
The team were due a bit of alignment. In that we've ridden our luck (due some, mind...) at times.
We'll see what happens at Barnsley.

Night and Day. Though the sheer and vast difference in rewards distorts that difference between the leagues and what players they can sign.
Though some teams are beginning to bridge the gap. We look at what Brentford have done with their footballing ethos. Brighton riding high having come from oblivion not so many years ago. Palace have settled into things. They haven't got Forest's iconic world brand etc.
Hopefully it will be Forest's turn one day.
