I thought Palace looked half-arsed. Only winning 1-0 is pretty embarassing. What is the opponent, league one standard? Palace did look like they could have scored more if they’d had more urgency but bizarrely they didn’t seem overly fussed on getting more goals. Strange. Were they saving energy for Sunday’s big one?

That tie is certainly not over with only a 1-0 lead to take to Norway.

Champions League draw with 6 English teams. Still annoyed one isn't us and that last years embarrassing Tottenham team are.
Anger tempered by how difficult Newcastle have found it to build a team to compete, I genuinely don’t think our own transfers would have been any different or better than now if we had been in it. Also just maybe, possibly we could copy Tottenham’’s path to get there next year?

Just beat me to it. So glad we didn't end up having to go through that. Watching the Champions League draw earlier has really whet my appetite for tomorrow. Just seeing the little plastic ball with Nottingham Forest (England) will be pretty special.
