100% agree especially as we were all over them for majority of the 85 minutes and it was our two fat wobbly fresh legs and fat ar$e that gave away possession cheaply to allow them to break and score.

If we're looking to attach blame for the goals then we should maybe look at how the two scorers were unmarked and in space. The first one Colback went deep into the box to defend the cross leaving space for their no4 to run onto the ball and have a shot on goal, the second yates stood watching while their no9 slotted it away from just outside the box.

I'm not implying either players were at fault, after all the first was a class finish and the 2nd a result of a bit of a tired lunge by Ribeiro which went wrong.
Generally I thought we looked a class above anything else we've seen so far this season, and quite a stretch back into last season too. IMO Hughton's just trying to work the front to back balance out at the moment, moving away from the backs against the wall approach that Sabri did so well with and to getting players in more forward positions to make us more offensive. When he gets it right I can see us having a bit of a positive run. Maybe in the last 3rd of the season? Of course at that point, the play-offs will be a impossible.

When I watched it back, I'm fairly sure Ribeiro just slipped at a very inopportune moment. More sh1t luck than sh1t play tbf...or sh1t boots...
