Beat them and we are one game from Wembley.
Also a chance to give some of the newbies and returnees some minutes.
You Reds!

Someone will get to play the winner of Coventry v Maidstone in the QF too, it could be us!

It'll also decide whether our Luton game goes ahead. They're still in it too but have got Man City so probably not after that.

It is irrelevent in getting any points as was the point in the original post about the next few games. For me points from the next three league games are the main priority and I would swap four points from them for a victory over Man Utd in FA Cup. Of course they can go hand in hand but surviving in the premier league has got to be a higher priority than a decent run in FA cup. I would feel very disappointed if we did a Wigan.

RE: Next Few Games - Fumanchew - 18-02-2024

We’ve beaten both villa and manu this season

Liverpool just got shit on by injuries and we were able to find a way to beat them last season(at home)

We surprised Brighton last season during our mini run, Luton beat them 4-0, Burnley and sheff Utd both kept them to a draw (all at home)

So who knows

RE: Next Few Games - Mcforest - 29-02-2024

The next few games for teams at the bottom is going to be interesting for sure.

Luton have villa next but after than they have a 3 games they will be thinking a great chance to get some points on the board and move them closer to safety
Luton
H to Villa - Villa should have enough to counter attack their way to an away win
A to Crystal palace - New manager bounce for Palace still on going?
A to Bournemouth - Which Bournemouth will turn up is unknown
H to Forest - Don't want to comment on what i think will happen

Think we can get three points in our run of games. Anything else is a bonus
Forest
H to Liverpool - Liverpool are just on one of those golden rolls now that no matter what seems to get in the way they seem to find a win.
A to Brighton - would take a solid point right now
A to Luton - no comment
H to Crystal palace - will know more about them by the time we play them and the new manager bounce should be coming to an end

Brentford are now right in this and have a very tough next few games but with one win they would prob keep the chasing pack at distance and get through it
H to Chelsea - chelsea terrible away from home but surely they should take something from this
A to Arsenal - Arsenal in a bit of form and at home.
A to Burnley - Brentfords best chance to pick up 3 points from the 4 games.
H to Man Utd - Playing man utd after they have just played a Quarterfinal match and Man utd could have some tired bodies.

Everton's mix of games looks like they are playing teams at the right time and they get the derby game postponed due to liverpool's 1/4 final. So only play 3 games rather than four in the look ahead of next few games.
H to West Ham - West Ham are so up and down who knows what this will be. Everton will feel this is something they can win
A to Man utd - Match before the 1/4 final bet man utd down tools so they don't suffer any injuries
A to Bournemouth - Bournemouth weakness is teams that play direct, in the air and rough.

Don't see the point in including any other teams as they are already on 28 points and two wins in next 12 games makes them safe.

So if things go badly for Luton and they lose the next three (2 are away after all), we could be in a position to put a big nail in their coffin at their place. I hope the refs understand the offside rule this time...

Would hope from 7pts from them 4 games. Brighton - D, Luton - W, Palace - W

7 from those would leave us in a really strong position.

RE: Next Few Games - Liars Bar - 29-02-2024

Luton playing away at Bournemouth on the Wednesday night before playing us is a good thing.

RE: Next Few Games - Salvatore Matrecano - 29-02-2024

I accept many teams have probably gone to Luton with the wrong mindset thinking they can win easily. However if we approach it with the mindset that Luton are favourites and a better team than us we deserve everything we get. Thankfully pretty sure Nuno doesn’t think like that.

RE: Next Few Games - Shawoddyred - 03-03-2024

I can't even be bothered to moan about yesterday. This season is really starting to get to me.

What is completely imperative is that we perform over the next 4 games in particular. Playing a Brighton who aren't what they were, just after they've been to Rome on Thursday night is a good opportunity for us. Then we must nail Luton - that is our cup final, we simply have to win. Followed by opportunities against Palace and Fulham.

I seriously hope we turn up, fight for every single ball and moment in those games and if we do, we will be fine. Huge run coming up!
