RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - nffc93 - 13-05-2023 Leeds are getting results against West Ham and Spurs. I don't know what to think anymore. It's in our hands but have we got enough about us. COYR RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Plymouth red - 13-05-2023 We do. And I don't think we can or should rely on other teams to do us a favour. We need to show we are good enough and that we deserve to be in this league next season. Let's hope our improved away performances will be rewarded with something today RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - wassy04 - 13-05-2023 (13-05-2023, 02:39 PM)nffc93 Wrote: Leeds are getting results against West Ham and Spurs. They've got to actually win a game to overtake us if we can get another point. I'd fancy a relaxed Spurs on the final day as long as Kane is playing. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Plymouth red - 13-05-2023 It's going to the wire. Can see Everton picking up 4 points, and likewise Leeds. Leicester less likely but you never know, Newcastle are struggling a bit while Liverpool have been dodgy away from home. I think if Leicester lose Monday then they will probably be down. But even a point, then that could spur them on - a point against Newcastle and win against West ham - possible 5 points. We need at least 2 points I reckon RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Shawoddyred - 13-05-2023 I don't think Leicester will get 4 points. I think we're safe from them. So just 1 spot between 3 teams. Leeds..... really don't know about them could end up with zero points, could easily win both remaining games. I hope the SA experiment fails but very hard to call. Everton.... also extremely hard to call. No idea where that Brighton result came from. Wolves away and Bournemouth at home could also be 6 points?! Their players have been criticised in the media for their performance against Fulham. If they can't get themselves up for Liverpool then they are as good as down. But I would expect a big performance after Fulham and Liverpool have been iffy at the back (as are leicester). Ultimately, if we can get a result against arsenal then nothing else matters. Just a jolly big if RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Username - 13-05-2023 All teams can beat anyone in this division, especially when you have the likes of Maddison, Gnonto or erm I can’t really think of an equivalent for Everton but my point remains the same. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Paplane - 13-05-2023 Not premier league i know but Matt Smith has just scored for Salford. That bloke makes me shudder every time I see him on a pitch. Maybe that centre forward with a pony tail bloke? RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - HebdenRed - 13-05-2023 Just getting home now after the game. I’ve got a horrible feeling in my stomach that we will go down on goal difference. Just something nagging away at me…….not sure we pick up another point and Leeds get 3 from 2 and leicester 4 from 3. Would just be such a Forest thing to happen. I’ll still be there next Saturday and away at Palace bit just getting that sinking feeling….. RE: The Premier League 2022/23 - Sausage Roll - 13-05-2023 That would need big turnarounds in form from two teams not really showing much to suggest they're capable of doing so. Particularly in Leicester's case. They're leaking loads of goals and are playing two teams still chasing Champions League places. I can see Leicester being out of the running to catch us before they play West Ham. I think Leeds will not beat West Ham. I doubt we get anything vs Arsenal but I'd fancy us vs Palace |
