RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Rookie - 10-11-2022 (09-11-2022, 11:33 PM)tugger2018 Wrote: Cooper man is going nowhere If that performance continue maybe this thread can be closed. Was it a different competition that generate more compsure. That mentality is needed i leauge games aswell. Key for me was that the team didn’t go all defence, panic and hoof ball after first or second goal. Great match management at the end by mgw and bj. Also cooper used the bench well. A glimmer of hope restored in this fickle fan… RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - tugger2018 - 12-11-2022 Can we put this thread to bed lads 4 out of 5 good performances now RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-11-2022 (12-11-2022, 06:29 PM)tugger2018 Wrote: Can we put this thread to bed lads 4 out of 5 good performances now We can put it to bed for now but when we lose a couple and if we are still in the drop zone I am sure it will be back. It's the nature of the beast. RE: Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Paplane - 04-04-2023 No manager is keeping us up this year. Id give Cooper 10 games next season to see if he can turn us around. I feel we have a good nucleus of young talent who can bounce back and give us a great chance of getting back. RE: Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-04-2023 Marcelino is of interest but I believe he will take some persuading in our current position. Ex Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal. RE: Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - wassy04 - 04-04-2023 Those Chelsea. Leicester and Spurs sackings went really well this week btw. RE: Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Paplane - 04-04-2023 If we go for foreign coach he'll fail, end up in the championship with us and think wtf is this shithole league? Exactly. Everyone thinks a new manager bounce is inevitable. It worked with Everton because you went from clueless lampard to dyche. Likewise, Gerrard being got rid of and being replaced with anyone who had an ounce of tactical ability was likely to see big improvements. Generally if you replace an inept manager with a good one then chances are you see an improvement. If you replace with a like for like or downgrade, then chances are you won't do better. Ultimately, any sacking now smacks of panic and desperation and would suggest no long term strategy or plan. |
