Liverpool was just one game SM I am not getting carried away with that although I really enjoyed it on the day.
Arsenal was shockingly poor, Wolves was crap, Leicester absolute shit, Villa and Brighton so and so and yesterday acceptable.

Arsenal are top of the league. The other games were shite but we are trying to compete with a Championship central defence, a mediocre at best central midfield and no decent centre forward.
But lets blame the manager. Sorry but as you can tell I am becomings irritated at the narrative that is being pushed on here.

Are you seriously telling me you didn’t think the Liverpool performance was a different level to the West Ham one which lets be honest was daylight robbery.
First half yesterday we were very good too, played some excellent one touch passing football with at least 3 clear cut scoring chances.
I also think we are improving. Players are getting more used to one another and the tempo of the premier league and quality of opposition. If we are going to survive I still think we need some more quality bringing in. The quality we have available is still towards the bottom end especially in central positions.

It doesn't matter who the manager is, the simple fact is we can not score enough goals. We dominate for periods and then usually get the sucker punch from the opposition.
We need a striker more so than a new manager.

Taking last 6 games since Villa compared to previous 6 there's definitely an overall improvement.
Yes Arsenal was horrendous but at least we competed in all the others picking up some points along the way.

Totally agree. Luckily the wider fan base seem to disagree. I am sensing the overwhelming majority in the stands are totally behind Coops.
We was robbed of 3 points yesterday. Those shocking decisions changed the direction the game was heading. We were playing some good stuff in that first half. That killer pen totally did us unjustly. Luckily the players battled till the very end to get us that point which means the players are fully behind him as well.
Bring on the Palace.

It's how there told/coached to play.. numerous times yesterday there was opportunity's to shoot from distance, or even straight at the goal, but instead they look for a pass, or pass it to aurier or Williams in the corner.. Dennis, remo and obrien all had a clear shot from about 18/20 yards. Yet they ether passed it with, and at 2 points, back to cook or mckenna, was awful to see.. we're always looking to work it into the box for tap ins than trying our luck

As previously stated on other threads. I believe the only one I think would work is Dyche but is it better than Cooper?

We have a good manager. His career so far has been one of progression every season culminating in taking Forest from the bottom of the championship to promotion in the space of 8 months. It was remarkable. He is now 14 games into managing us in the white hot heat of the premier league and we have struggled and currently bottom but performances showing some signs of improvement. With The way we went up with the squad we had I don’t think we can really be that surprised we have struggled. Many will say we have spent £150 million in the summer and should be doing better but when you compare us player for player with most of our competitors we are still behind nearly all of them. Cooper himself is getting used to the premier league but most pundits think he is manager on the rise and flagged up as a potential England manager. In my opinion sacking him now risks us getting rid of manager who could be very successful in the future and whose team is currently improving. It would be gambling this steady progress and longer term potential on an unidentified individual who will have an under par squad to work with. There is definitely no guarantee our performances would improve. For me Cooper is our best bet in the short term and medium term if we do go down.
