RE: Next Few Games - Dog and Bear - 26-11-2019 Joe Ralls will be missing for Cardiff on Saturday. He'll be a big miss for them. RE: Next Few Games - Simon - 26-11-2019 currently 29 points form 16 games averaging 1.81 points per game... marginally off the pace for automatic but not much. A win tomorrow will see us 1 point off the required average ( 1.96 points per game for 90 points..) A draw tomorrow will see us on the same points total as this time last season. I do wonder if the required total for automatic promotion may be higher this year... West Brom currently at 2.11 per game so predicting 97 points if they continue.. Leeds at 2 point per game so 92 points... Time for some consistency and to try and build some momentum. Last season Forest had 27 points from 17 games so a draw tomorrow will leave us 3 points better off. For me, I worry a bit that if our squad is required beyond a bit of rotation, then, at worst, our squad coming into its own could mean dropping down the table. As it stands, we have loads of CBs and "number 10s" who look ok to come in and 2 decent left backs, but elsewhwere... GK. Big downgrade if injured. RB...no one. Holding MF...very unconvincing Bostock, then a kid. "Number 8" should be ok by then as Sow, Semedo and Yates to battle it out.- the next 3 games however... Wide...Albert. CF...Mir. Time will tell and maybe our luck will hold with injuries, but I have doubts we could cover a few more injuries. Both Brizzle and PNE had a clutch of injuries against us and did ok, hope we can do the same if needed. RE: Next Few Games - the jock - 26-11-2019 Leeds win tonight scoring in 87th min Luton beat Charlton Fulham hammer Derby RE: Next Few Games - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-11-2019 (07-11-2019, 09:53 AM)Sabricadabra Wrote: Warburton teams are usually easy to score against. I’d fancy us to win that one. I will be disappointed if we don't come away with 3 points tonight. QPR are on a terrible run. I’d fancy us to win that one. Its a must win game for me now tonight. To keep pace with the top 2 we need to be winning every other away game and all the home games. Of late I have a sinking feeling that we're not quite at that level. This time of the year sorts the men from the boys. RE: Next Few Games - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-11-2019 Next few games to come after tonight: Cardiff H Sat Millwall A Fri Middlesbrough H Tues Sheff Wed H Sat Huddersfield A Sat Hull A Thurs Wigan H Sun Blackburn H Wed 5 of them are at home. All things being equal we could easily win every single one. But you could also say Milwall away, Udders away and Hull away are losable games. As I said above, if we want to be top 2 we have to win all home games, and win every other away game IMO. Leeds have won 2 away games this week and have an easy home game (Boro) on saturday. RE: Next Few Games - wassy04 - 28-11-2019 Add in reading, Luton and reading again after that. Pretty friendly run of games over what’s normally a difficult period. Even an average set of results in this run should see us maintain a playoff place. Sadly think it’s going to be tough to finish top two, WBA look like they could run away with it. Just got to try and keep us as best we can I guess. Pretty amazing it’s even a question that we could be challenging for top two. Just need to enjoy it while it lasts! RE: Next Few Games - Jean_claude_killy - 28-11-2019 If we can maintain the situation were the amount of games won is greater than the total of games drawn and lost combined, then we are on the right track. The congestion at the top will now start to thin out a bit; we just need to ensure we stay there RE: Next Few Games - PsychoStanleyStone - 28-11-2019 (27-11-2019, 03:25 PM)Sniffer Dog Wrote: Next few games to come after tonight: succulent and juicy low lying fruit, straightforward points acquisitions, sledgehammer to crack a nut |
