Wouldn't it be nice to see headlines saying "Forest offer O'Neill and Keane new contracts" in 15-16 months time?

When a relationships over it's over, it doesn't really matter who got the last word in, or who was holding the door open on the way out. Who ended it is semantics, all that matters is that it was over, & that was because it no longer worked & for a myriad of reasons, many already discussed on here.

That's a pearl of wisdom that I will take on board and note for future reference.  *thoughtfully.

It still surprises me that we traded up for a Rolls Royce & some of our fans melted down because of it.
Only because Rolls Royce is associated to Derby lol  :D

4 wins on the bounce at home.

"Tactical dinosaur" was it?

Today looks like perfect man-management of a player who had gone off the boil, and another who's contributed naff all in the 4 months here.

Great game management again from Martin. He certainly is a class above any manager we’ve had for the past 15 years at least both in his intelligence and the way he articulates himself. I’m very proud he is our manager.

Wouldn’t it be great if when he does retire we are in the prem, what an end that would be to a fantastic career.

Hopefully not for a few more years yet Redgirl and between now and then, he remains our Manager.

I fully agree with you, Martins intelligence is way above what we have had for a very long time. He always comes across as calm, thoughtful and very articulate in what he says, even throwing in a bit of humour too. Something that is sadly lacking in todays game of over inflated money and over inflated egos.

We finally have a manager who genuinely has the best interests of the club at heart instead of his own personal interests.

And about time.  FINALLY!

Dream ticket.  Wasn't MoN/Keane our wet dream ticket to the promised land?

So often linked with the job.

I guess, part of me is still in denial that Martin's here.

Maybe frightened I'll wake up, Sniffer Dog.

Progressive.  Tough.  Positive.  Robust.  'Softly spoken...'   Tactical master classes in almost every game.

Go on, my SAN!

Good to see such positivity about O’Neill and Keane on the boards. He’s a very good manager at premiership level never mind the Championship. He will take us up, of that I have no doubt.

The previous moaners will of course then be singing his name.
