RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 11-03-2023

Ayew did ok generally when he came on. Critising him for missing a penalty after the team capitulated again isnt fair. His introduction was one of very few positives. Id start him next week now.

Dennis is a street baller.. more interested in trying to take people on then do anything actually productive for the team... Lost count of the times he gave the ball away when we had commited bodies forward..

Not just Dennis though, we where poor.. again... I can't believe they train all week to play that shit time after time..

I was right all along about ayew! :)
Jonno inured - wood injured -
If Steve plays 433 away again he will go down in my estimation. 4231 was better- how some of those players are getting on in front of Scarpa is beyond me too…

Dismal. Why do we seemingly start every game so slowly. Don't appear to start playing until at least a goal down or two

RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - Floridared - 11-03-2023

well Fester lost, Leeds drew, if Southhampton, Palace and Wet Spam loose, all is not lost.

Apart from that everything is great and wonderful..............

Yeah if he'd picked Scarpa and Neco (?!?) Instead of Lingard and Worrall we'd have smashed them right?

Absolutely not but maybe we would have played a couple decent free kicks and corners. Worrall was no worse than any of the rest of them.

Agree thought Ayew was Ok penalty apart. Better than any of Dennis, Wood, Lingard.
But does a team that starts Ayew in the Premier league have the quality to stay up? No.

Worrall's error for the penalty was pretty bad tbf.

We did also score from a corner...

I have yet to see any evidence of this amazing dead ball ability from Scarpa either.

The very same things were being said about Kouate, Boly and Aurier Salv. Give the lad a chance.

Be nice to have the other two of those right now.

It's crazy really Boly, Kouyate, Yates, Awoniyi really being missed right now. I think my criticism would be we should've looked to upgrade Dennis in January once Taiwo went down. It's a clear gap in the team right now and we really have noone behind Brennan either.

At this point despite how poor he looks I'd give Dennis a run and just accept his incredibly frustrating play for the positives. I enjoyed when he sprinted back, made a great tackle, dribbled it forward and then immediately got tackled running past someone, classic Dennis. Maybe we'll grow to love his play in sadistic way at some point

It was a diabolical penalty though Pap although I agree he did more than Lingard, MGW and Dennis combined.

I am doing Pap, as I said I can see why Cooper trusts Ayew, his contribution is definitely better than some.
But he should be a bit part player to see games out, not the main event.

Which he has been so far!
