Sure half of them will be available at the weekend.

Yes it's nowhere near as bad as that twitter post made it sound.

RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Alf Garnett - 30-03-2023

Come on Taiwo lets be having you.

RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Salvatore Matrecano - 30-03-2023

There’s going to be some unhappy people when Ayew starts up front on Saturday.

Isn't he also injured?

Wood will miss the rest of the season according to Cooper's press conference.

Harsh but could be a blessing in disguise. Particularly if Taiwo is fit again.

No injury is a blessing in disguise, he would always be useful whatever his limitations.

But seriously, plays a few games, commits us to huge outlay whatever league we end up in next year. What a truly awful business decision.

I think the only reason they structured it like that was for FFP purposes rather than a genuine loan to buy if he met certain things. It should just be viewed as a permanent signing. Although it might've been helpful if they'd just announced that at the time.

Ridiculously bad luck again on the injury front though, pay 10-15m for a striker and then injured after 4 games despite no previous injury record.

Hate to break it to you, with loan fee it is £19m
Wages another £4m a year on top.

Yeah doesn't look the finest piece of business, particularly as Cooper didn't seem to have a plan how to use him. Ironically we changed to 4231 for the Newcastle game just after he got injured, which would've suited him much better! Maybe there was more of a plan we just didn't get to see it as too many injuries and a few poor results meant they couldn't go with it.

Ah well if we do go down him and Taiwo would make an excellent front 2 with MGW behind them.

Apparently Scarpa got a knock too and Brennan is a doubt according to SSN (although I presume he plays). He's clearly not 100% fit though
