RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - Alf Garnett - 29-03-2021 I am sure that Hughton won't lose any sleep over that then. RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - Salvatore Matrecano - 21-04-2021 Yes Hughton has a very big job on his hands. RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - TheGreenMan - 22-04-2021 Going to buy a load of paint ready for next season....Can’t be any worse than watching Hughton football. RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - PsychoStanleyStone - 22-04-2021 without lots of chances and goals what is the point? It's like a steak and kidney pie without the steak and kidney, basically there is a problem here, not saying Chris is the cause but does he really have the answers? RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - northeastred - 22-04-2021 You cant say that when chris came in the target was to avoid relegation, especially with our owners Regardless if your chris in or chris out we all know whats coming in the summer We can blame players and we should, but at the end of the day its down to the manager to get the best out of players, managers have come in less time to over teams, with worse players than ours, barnsley been one, we were all buzzing when we signed all these players in the summer, saying we had a top 6 squad, they look like they have not even been taught the basics, anyways, we can all argue about pros and cons with each other, iv even seen posters fall out, but at the end of the day, with performances, and results, tactics etc etc blah blah blah, With Vrentzos at the wheel, and the owner wanting success asap, its looking grim for chris RE: Hughton's Got A Job On His Hands - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 22-04-2021 Doubt it. In stark contrast to many other football club owners I believe that EM does actually know a bit about football and knows when things are going down the pan with managers and players. EM even kept Sabri on for the start of this season, when ideally, theoretically and logically, he should've been sacked at the end of last season. He gave Sabri a chance to redeem the bottle job of last season because he felt there was something that could've been salvaged from the capitulation, but sadly, there was nothing left. He'll definitely be here next season. Sometimes I think people don't realise that only 1 team can win every game and that only a handful of teams can be successful. Not achieving it doesn't have to be because you did something wrong. Just others did more right than you. Let's give our owner some credit. He bought a world famous brand with historic football traditions. His record at Olympiakos should inspire some long term confidence. SA. |
