Well I for one don’t believe him.

Diakhaby performance tonight was horrendous, his off the ball work was just awful. He kept ending up in the wrong position and messing up the pressing.

Add to that jenkinson also dreadful, kept ending up sat up front and often out of position. Also his touch was not good.

We shall see on Saturday. I pray they all make miraculous recoveries.
And it doesn't mean you drop both full backs who are critical to our system.

The thing that really grates is that our performance tonight proved reluctantnicko absolutely right.
He’s been banging on all season about our lack of quality outside the first choice eleven.
And - by the look of it - our January transfer window was a disaster.

Was my first reaction too, I guess we'll know on Saturday if they're not playing again.

I do believe Sow was not fit, didnt look fully fit Sat anyway

If anything even more reason to make no other changes, given we'd lost two of our most important players

Got what we deserved and not sure what the manager was thinking.

I can understand the resting Sow but would have taken the points tonight and worried about West Brom player availability on Friday.

We don’t have quality in depth so maybe that was his point to the recruitment team and players such as Yates are nowhere near the quality for a top 6 aspiration side.

Typical Forest after the Lord Mayors show.

That January transfer window looks absolutely terrifying

Heard it before and known it not to be true, not saying it isn’t but I’m sceptical.

Let's be honest, which players can look back and think the performance was good enough.

A real shame. I like lamouchi and he has done well considering my expectations in August were non existent. But tonight's team selection and sub selection was a complete calamity from start to finish

Err no they didn’t.
They made 4 changes - inc 2 players for fear of them getting bookings which would see them suspended.

Given how other results went we would have been second tonight had we won.
