RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - Portchester Tricky - 23-07-2022 Nobody has mentioned Gustavo Scarpa, who is left sided AM. Assuming that Olympiakos are not involved in the latter stages of the Champions League, he is due to join us in January. RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - Marinakis Red - 23-07-2022 Scarpa scored a wonderful goal the other night. RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - Redreg - 25-07-2022 Love how no we have singed O’Brien and Looks like Mangala i keep seeing teams posted on social media without Ryan Yates ? One thing i can be 100% sure of is that A fit Ryan Yates is still one of the first names on the teamsheet come Newcastle !! RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - McDurban - 26-07-2022 So based on the names we are hearing, the squad is beginning to look like this. I'm getting nervous about Davies, seems to have a recurring hamstring injury and Forest do not have the luxury of time. He would be the 1st choice CF for the Forest tactical style, if not him certainly someone of similar ability to hold up the ball. There is certainly a lot of hustle and bustle between Yates, Mangala and O'Brien. I'd rather have Garner than Ramsay but that may not be possible... yet. I am expecting Cafu to move on and Ojeda out on loan. If an Onana does come in then Colback would probably also leave. RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - Mcforest - 26-07-2022 That is a fine looking squad of players. Can't wait for them to click RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - wassy04 - 26-07-2022 (26-07-2022, 09:52 AM)McDurban Wrote: So based on the names we are hearing, the squad is beginning to look like this. Can't see Gibbs-White coming now with Lingard, not sure he'd want to come as backup RE: NFFC Squad 2022/23 - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-07-2022 I am increasingly convinced Gibbs White is staying at Wolves so count him out regardless. Do think we need another No10 but ideally someone who can play in another positon too otherwise as you say they are likely to be 2nd pick behind Lingard. This is what surprises me for Mangala, from what I have read he and OBrien are very similar. No chance you play them both in the same team unless one is more advanced. £25m between the 2 of them but one is very likely to sit on the bench. We need an alternative player to Yates, crucially one with some arial ability. To add to McDurbans image above, Biancone is a right sided centre back , he isnt a wing back and wont play there unless Williams is out. A small chance he could play RB in a 4 with Williams ahead but doubt that will happen often.
