RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Marco Polo - 13-04-2024 Hope we stay up - huge game today. Another Fulham please Nuno RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - RyanR - 13-04-2024 (13-04-2024, 08:58 AM)Marco Polo Wrote: I’m not criticising, it was just a comment about how others see us You could argue that Luton or Sheffield United are “brilliantly run” if the criteria is not overspending. Sheffield United have been one of the worst teams in premier league history and Luton only still have a chance because we had 4 points taken away. It would be far more frustrating if we hadn’t tried to invest at all and we’d just rolled over RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Marco Polo - 13-04-2024 Agreed Just saying how others see it RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - stefanduma - 13-04-2024 (13-04-2024, 12:05 PM)Marco Polo Wrote: Agreed Especially Sheep and County fans. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Sausage Roll - 13-04-2024 -4 hit to Luton's goal difference today. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - ToryTom - 13-04-2024 very sadly we are getting relegated. we needed three points today. Luton will win two of those home games and it will be enough. we needed to beat palace and wolves. we won’t beat city and probably lose. chelsea could be any result. if they turn up they will win. then three away games. are we capable of winning consecutive away games. the last two seasons suggest not. i will renew in the championship just hope it isn’t another 23 years or that will be it for me watching Forest in the premier league. Bit negative. You expect Luton to win 2 out of 5, I expect Forest to do the same. Draw wasn’t the end of the world but it was frustrating I get that. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - jurgen rober - 13-04-2024 Personally, I think if Luton win 1 more game it will be against Fulham. I dont think they will get more than 30 points so we would need a maximum 5 points and I can actually see us getting 5 points away. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Little Red Rooster - 13-04-2024 Another disappointing afternoon displaying all the usual frailties, why do we not go man for man when defending set pieces when things go wrong at least you can see who the culprit(s) is / are. I can't believe that successive coaching teams have not been able to improve our defending of corners etc. It is one of the basics of the game. I am also sick of the sight of Origi in a Forest shirt & hope not to have to see it again. We really needed the 3 points today, as now having failed to get them it looks as if we will have to win at least one of the 3 away games which will mean breaking the habit of the last 2 seasons, & I don't think we will unless this team suddenly grow a pair which is a bit unlikely. The team lack something which is difficult to define & I can only describe as bloody mindedness, and a desire to keep the ball out of our net. RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Simon - 13-04-2024 if we get one point back Luton will need to gain 3 points on us thanks to our goal difference can they do that ? i’m not so sure - it will certainly go down to the wire though ! RE: The Premier League 2023/24 - Trailer Park Tom - 13-04-2024 (13-04-2024, 06:43 PM)Simon Wrote: if we get one point back Luton will need to gain 3 points on us thanks to our goal difference can they do that ? i’m not so sure - it will certainly go down to the wire though ! It's this type of fan complacency that's silently guided us towards the championship. We failed to beat Luton twice and now your calculations/prediction is reliant on a potential 1 point reward from an appeal. |
