RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Marinakis Red - 04-10-2022 (04-10-2022, 02:19 PM)RyanR Wrote: Looks like the new manager will also have to work with a completely different set of staff behind the scenes too. Dane, Syrianos and other recruitment staff could be leaving as well. Charnsley might take over and will suggest the new manager. Madness mate, never learn. All the positive steps we have taken as a club are about to be ripped up and we start again with no plan or identity. A squad full of players not suited to the manager they appoint as we have inability to connect the 2 or look at the bigger picture. I have been taken in and so naive thinking things had changed for the good of the club. Absolute mug. Leopards do not change their spots. The success on the pitch last season was amazing, but even if we hadn’t been promoted, experiencing a positive attitude around the club was refreshing. I think EM will lose a lot of support unless his new man hits the ground running. Just read some conflicting reports saying that Cooper will now be given 1 more game to perform. How can he properly prepare with that much pressure? Lets not get ahead of ourselves just because of some article in a shit paper. That's more concerning. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-10-2022 Well even I have hinted at Dane in the past and got shit for it. Believe me it gave me no pleasure. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - RyanR - 04-10-2022 Dane’s role changed though, didn’t it? He wasn’t very involved with recruitment and Marinakis Jr. took over. I think our recruitment was terrible in the Summer of 2021. It just so happened that Cooper worked a miracle with what we had. How do we know that the recruitment this season hasn’t worked after just 8 games? Some of the new signings haven’t even played yet. I could understand if the club and Cooper part ways, as the relationship seems to have broken down slightly, but I would not be for throwing out the baby with the bath water. If EM sees a different manager as having a better chance of staying up, then that’s one thing, but changing everything after spending a fortune on players to completely start again is another. We’ve waited over 20 years for this opportunity and at this rate it’ll bring nothing but embarrassment. Not much that JP writes is wrong. 99% of the time a very trustworthy journalist. That was not the paper who wrote it first or the paper I was referring too. I told you two months ago on here that Dane was in trouble. Some gave me shit for it but I won't wait for an apology but you know who you are. Just for the record I don't bear grudges. How likely do you think the managerial and structural changes are Sniff? Do you think Cooper will be given any more time? It feels like the recruitment and management are separate issues, but EM might be trying to sort them both at the same time. RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - JollyLolly - 04-10-2022 Seems like back to square ONE every time with Forest if true, Why does this club always f**k it up? RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Redgirl - 04-10-2022 Can’t believe we have had 12 months or so of stability, then, back to type. Absolutely gutted. Please can we develop a plan and stick to it, not panic at the first hurdle! |
