I reckon after the international break apart from Biancone and Boly we should be full strength providing we don't pick up any more injuries before then.

Thank god. Players like Kouyate aren't just going to step back in and carry on where they left of though. The full squad will likely only be fully match fit and firing at the end of the season.

Yes true Pap is that.

Which suggests neither will feature this Sunday!

Doesn't sound like Aurier will play based on Tails article in Athletic. Says he's not back in training yet and targeting Spurs game.

Hopefully he's just been learning from Steve how to talk about injuries!

Ryan Yates would be very useful for the last 30 on Sunday - get him on and get him riling the hell out of them.

Pass it to Brennan - score

1-0

7 points clear with a game in hand thanks

Head Coach Steve Cooper has provided a positive injury update on both Ryan Yates and Moussa Niakhaté ahead of this weekend's fixture against Everton.

Yates has missed the last four league matches through illness, whilst Niakhaté hasn’t featured since the second game of the season due to a hamstring injury, but the pair have both returned to training this week as they edge closer to a return to action.

The Head Coach gave an injury update on his side in this afternoon’s pre-Everton press conference, and said: “Ryan Yates and Moussa Niakhaté are back in training. They are close to being back involved.

“We have to be careful with Moussa, he’s been out for a long while and we are desperate for him to be involved but he’s had a long-term injury. It’s not just about recovering from the injury, but being able to get back up to the demands of the Premier League.

“He’s certainly in a good place now and he’s in the last stages, so as soon as we know he’s 100% ready to play, we look forward to getting him back involved.”

“Renan Lodi walked off at West Ham so we will see where he is. We’re not sure on Serge Aurier at the moment, but he’s working hard.

“Dean Henderson is still a few weeks away, he’s had another scan. He’s recovering and on course for what the injury is, but there’s still a show to say he’s not quite ready and he’s a few weeks away from the final stages of his rehabilitation. It’s unlikely he will train before the international break.”

“Taiwo Awoniyi is making good progress, he’s out on the grass and back running. He’s not with the team yet and isn’t kicking any balls, but he’s making progress which is positive for him.”

Other reports saying that Lodi is out for Sunday and though Yates and Niakhate are 'close' they won't be involved on Sunday.

Sure Lodi will play.

Heard Hendo had a setback.

There is 1 thing for certain.
Coops spins his comments re injuries to keep the opposition guessing.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Yates and Moussa were on the bench and Serge starting

That would be huge against Everton.
