I reckon we get something out of this, feeling completely unjustifiably confident

No urgency- no busting a gut. Even Yates and Worrall don’t even look to be arsed.  Grabban’s reaction is why he should be no where near the captaincy

This performance was so predictable. I just knew they'd go down without threatening.

And Knockaert can piss off back too. He gives us nothing. Zip. Zero.

we spent maybe £9m on Soh and McGinn but sales of maybe £25 to £30 million, besides Cash and the academy lad, Silva, Jack Robinson, Osborne were good players, may even be a £20m profit on transfers last season/summer

appreciate running costs, loans, covid etc very expensive but .. investment mmmm

Soh and McGinn are very interesting, maybe the owners had more than an eye on the future as opposed to this season

either way this season is leaning towards being an unmitigated disaster

There’s no question Marinakis is losing a lot of money, but it’s going on wages. Questionable whether you could call it ‘investment’! The balance needs to be much less on wages on mercs and much more on the McGinn’s, Toney’s and Dembeles.

I remain confident there are 3 worse teams than us in the division in terms of quality.

Whether there are 3 worse teams in terms of commitment ask me in 45 mins.

Not that that’s any consolation.

I think Stoke play a bit like this, they back themselves to defend well. We don’t create much, just put crosses in which they’re good at defending so job done.

Exactly right

Agree, albeit we are lacking goals

yes, those 'signings of intent', the next Collymore, Phillips, Bohinen and Cooper, i've always felt, i guess from going back to Cloughie, the differance between an average and an exceptional side often boils down to 4 or 5 really good additions
