RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - McDurban - 25-02-2020 Sow has not played enough for me. I still do not know who I would choose though. It is between Cash, Watson, Worrall and Samba at the moment. What if Grabban scores +20 though and we go up? RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 25-02-2020 (25-02-2020, 09:54 AM)McDurban Wrote: Sow has not played enough for me. We will start a thread and a poll on that soon (Player of the season). It's probably a tad too early at the moment. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Maltared - 25-02-2020 Watson should get if for me ...first, he deserves it, second he is in the twilight of his career and thirdly because who wins it , the following year of he leaves or he turns out shite .... so from the three/four contenders..I go with the old fella ....? I think we should wait. I think we can only vote once and a lot can happen between now and the end of the season. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - jurgen rober - 25-02-2020 As everyone has mentioned there are a list of 3 or 4 who deserve to be considered this season. For me, at the moment I would have to plump for Cash. He has not only adapted to playing in a new position but has excelled at it and continued to improve throughout the season. He has regularly been voted in the team of the week and is not only a part of a very good defence but adds so much going forward. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Alf Garnett - 25-02-2020 Right now I would go for Cash closely followed by Watson but before the end of the season I could change my mind. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-02-2020 Watson superb again last night. I am going to engage smug mode slightly here as I reckon I was one of the few who wanted to keep him last summer, mainly because of the leadership he offers the team. Even then though I never expected him to be such an integral part of the team. You start to wonder if the problem last season was Colback and not Watson. The 4141 style really does suit his play and I reckon his age and lack of speed isnt too much of an issue, good for another season yet although I assume he is out of contract? It's just that in Sabri's system he doesn't need to be up and down the pitch at pace, of which he has none. He just sits and mops up. It's incredible that Sabri came in and saw what a contribution a player on the apparent scrap heap could make to his team. Great management. I also agree with SM that Watson deserves another year. He doesn't need the legs with the football brain that he has got. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - wassy04 - 26-02-2020 Has he missed a game this season? His durability should be applauded, never gets subbed. I know he doesn't get about as much as some but puts in a lot of tackles. Done well to avoid a yellow card ban really |
