We're still 13th, this was an opportunity but not season defining

Let's not panic. We bounced back from previous trouncings like arsenal. Our home form is still good. Let's face it, none of us thought west ham would be one of the three relegated. Just as most don't believe it will be Leicester.

The reality is that we have got to keep Everton, Bournemouth and Southampton at arms reach. And we have an excellent opportunity to do that next week.

Still very much in our hands but that was disappointing. Next week is pivotal.

Like others I am baffled by the substitution.

If Shelvey had to come off then surely it's a no brainer to replace him with Mangala.

One from nine points in those three games probably wasn't a massive surprise. You could argue we got the point from the wrong match!

Yeah two away games and City at home. Happy with that personally although would've preferred it was at West Ham

I am not happy with it we shouldn't settle for that. We have been beaten 4-0 today by a relegation rival. 1 point from 9 is a poor return against a top side, a middle of the table side and a relegation rival.

Noone is happy losing 4-0, doesn't mean it'll define the season. It's only one game and we've been battered by injuries

RE: West Ham United - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 25-02-2023

Aurier, Boly, Yates, Taiwo

Big players we're still missing, we've really had such a brutal run of injuries. Team has noticeably been worst since Yatesy got injured

Agree with you Sniffer, losing so heavily and without much of a fight to a fellow relegation team is not good. We all agree that SC has done wonders for our club but his continual negative tactics (both home and away) will be his ruin, he need to be brave and set the team to be much more positive until the end of the season.

What I can't understand is how nice we are.. we seem to stand off rather than make a tackle all the time

I bet you were one of the ones saying we were too open in the early part of the season too

I was sitting with home fans today. They were very quiet ( until the 2nd goal).
Few old geezers nearly had a punch up over nothing. A lot of grumbling.

Give me my seat in the City Ground anyday

RE: West Ham United - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 25-02-2023

Oh well look on the bright side, it wasn’t Barnsley putting 4 past us.

RE: West Ham United - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 25-02-2023

I just sense we lost our way. Aurier's composure at the back was a huge miss today, as was Yates's fight in the middle. The injuries are really hurting us now I feel.
