I see Douglas Luiz played 90 minites for Villa today and was very good. You have to wonder what the merry f**k was going on.

Chicago: Annoyed.

So what? He's a Villa player now.

And Villa lost. At home. To a team with ten men. Who we beat comfortably last week. So he can't have been that good.

Spurs 0-2 down to Man City and looking dire.

If a few teams around us put a few results together they could be in real trouble.

I’m sure Luiz probably looked comfortable on the ball, played a few nice passed etc but probably lacked in defensive work or manoeuvrability. Either way he played 90 mins but as said, they lost to 10 man Brentford at home.

Aside from that Betis game I can't recall any time he looked that good for us.

RE: The Premier League 2025/26 - Fumanchew - 01-02-2026

RE: The Premier League 2025/26 - Sausage Roll - 01-02-2026

And now 2-2.

RE: The Premier League 2025/26 - Salvatore Matrecano - 02-02-2026

Hate to say it, although Palace have clearly overpaid on Strand Larsen, add in Johnson and Guessand they probably have enough up top to survive. They may well have Mcneil and Mateta still there too. Hope Im wrong of course.

I think McNeill is a decent squad player, I’m amazed that we didn’t buy him.
