Any team can win 4/5 games on trot. Hull proved it, Millwall last year.

That's the beauty of the Championship.

However, Forest have strung together 3 wins all season(?) let alone 4/5 needed for a genuine promotion push.

SA.

More like 9/10 needed for a promotion push from here.

People who think we're on the brink of winning 5 games on the bounce are deluded. We're playing relegation football at the moment and you dont just turn that kind of form around.

We might win 4 right at the end of the season when the pressure's off and our mid table obscurity is confirmed, but that's it.

Most sensible post on this thread.

And anyone, at the start of the season, would have taken 8th I'm sure.

Trouble is, we've had a glimpse of what might have been.

AYE.   True that.

I predicted 8th at the start of the season - would accept that at the moment.
Particularly with 3 points & regaining the BC Trophy in a few weeks time.

Daft thing about this league is we’ve played crap for the best part of 2 months, and are still only 5 points off the play offs. 3 wins in a row and we’re right back in there

Norwich went through August drawing 1, winning 1 and losing 3 in the league.

They took four points from a possible 15.

Our December/January run under Karanka we drew 2, won 2 and lost 3, taking 8 points from a possible 21.

Teams go through bad patches, even the best ones, sometimes you just have to weather the storm, especially in this league.

That isn’t a pro-Karanka point, just the nature of the division.

just noticed we got 4 games in 16 days which is quite a lot

due to the FA Cup Derby have 5 games in 16 days, we are the 5th game, they might of peaked too soon, I think we will smash em

Can only see us getting stronger over the next 5 games, i'm glad the games can't come quick enough, everyone has a lot of games

Bonatini, Pele, Milo and Waggy as well as Big Ben gonna be monsters in this league, all be upto speed in the next few games

We need Colback on that pitch

Bonatini, Grabban and Carv might all be played, get them clicking

You can only be depressed for so long, strongest squad in years.

We got strength in depth and a few fresh fringe players, Appiah and Yates could well make an impact

(The reason we lost against Birmingham?  Player of the Season was suspended.)

Martin lost his first handful of games at Leicester?  Fans moaned as they tend do...

...and then...

He found their way home...

For Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane … a litte older and a lot wiser … found their way home and finding the way at home?

You ask me where to begin...

Am I so lost in my sin?

You ask me where did I fall...

I'll say I can't tell you when...

...but if my spirit is strong...

No questions, I'm not alone...

It starts at the end...

Somehow...we're going somewhere.

Someway...somehow...I'll find my way home.
