The season without the Peter Taylor Stand will be interesting (assuming we stay up)

So new ticket office head honcho has apparently been brought in from Manchester United. Has clearly taken no note of our loyalty points system and put in place a f@cking raffle every two weeks like that lot from Manchester/London/Japan.

This has reignited my anger........

Imagine if we get relegated and have 5000 people scrabbling for tickets at Kenilworth Road

Or 5000 people trying to get 1000 tickets at Bournemouth or 1750 at Palace this season.

I don't think the club can really win until the development gets done. That's why I think an announcement is needed soon. It'll help the fans who can't be apart of this season feel more inclusive.

Totally agree with regards to home tickets.

However, there is no excuse for this sh1t show regarding away tickets.

So with 20000 ish season ticket holders this year, and tickets for home games going to be in demand. Should the club bring in a method for a secondary market. ie. if you can't make a game, let the club sell your ticket (and you get something).

I live in Nottingham, and last year made all but 1 home games (Donated my ticket to son for his friend so ticket got used). Just thinking it could be a way to sell maximum seats.
I know an Arsenal season ticket holder, and they have a method to resell their seat if not going to make the game.

I think this is being set up called the NFFC Online Ticket Exchange, one of the perks of membership. Assume this is what it'll be used for.

I believe that this is happening.

Personally would just offer it to mates who have put the time in but due to work can only get down from time to time. Wouldn't want to potentially inflict a tourist on my mates if it went that way.

Thanks guys

It's a worry that your mates could prefer the tourist Zicorice!

I doubt it's something I'd ever use, however it might be good for some season ticket holders. And if it helps a few more people get tickets and ensures that the ground is maxed out every game its got to be a good thing.

Depends if they get the beers in.

Those that travel a long way for home games that can struggle midweek sometimes might be able ro recoup some of their outlay. But as a local now, I know I have been asked many many times since May 29th if I will be able to source tickets for people.

Last season v Millwall  I was ill and no one was interested in borrowing ticket-for free.

Shows 2 things I guess:
1) How much things have changed in such a short space of time.
2) Our loyal fan base was not as massive 10 months ago as it would suddenly appear to be now.

Next season I have no doubt we could fill a 50k stadium pretty much every game. But once the novelty wears off or God forbid we lose a few games, the key is how many of the extra supporters we have gained  we can keep. The bonus 10k-20k or so we suddenly seem to have if we keep 5k of them as loyal fans (idiots like me who turn up whoever we play and whatever league we're in) then I guess that's a great thing.

The Cardiff and Boro home games last season averaged around 23k home supporters. I know some ST holders who didn't go as it was dire by that point. I don't blame them either.

Of course it all comes down to results and performances, but a sustained period of success in Premiership could clearly grow our fan base.

Look at Leicester-tin pot for so long, then having cheated their way to a new stadium, they now are looking to significantly develop said stadium to meet demand.

Interesting times and an opportunity.

Not sure if it's just me but there doesn't appear to be much business being done in the PL.

We must be in the top 7 or 8 biggest spenders so far and probably nearer the top in the number of player's we have acquired.
