Well that is chelsea getting a tansfer ban for all those kids they buy up.

Couldn't happen to a nicer club.
The ban will last until January 2020.

That will hinder their chances of getting a top manager in to replace Sarri.
Cant remember the last time i desperately wanted man utd to win a game but i guess it will have been when they were playing Liverpool.

Here's a moral dilemma for you Sniffer, say there's a girl & she's played for Forest Ladies & thus has match worn shirts she can wear for friendly frolicking & afternoon delights, but if you visit her home she has Liverpool stuff up in her yard, do you go make some fire tunes together, or do you say sorry mi' duck, washing mi' hair tonight?

Definitely make some fire tunes together NG3  Smile
I see that Leicester have appointed Brendan Rodgers.

I think they have made a good appointment and got themsleves a decent manager.
Former Watford owner Laurence Bassini says he has agreed a deal to buy Bolton Wanderers subject to approval from the English Football League.

He has told BBC Radio Manchester that the takeover has been agreed with current owner Ken Anderson.

In 2013, Bassini was given a three-year ban from being involved in a position of authority with any EFL club.

Wanderers, whose players have still not been paid their March wages, could be relegated to League One on Friday.
Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez, whose contract expires in the summer, has not heard back from the club's hierarchy three weeks after telling them what it will take to keep him at St James' Park.

We’ll have him...
I wouldn't say no but won't happen.

Yes please!
What were United thinking about giving the job full time to Solskjaer?

Poor appointment in my opinion.

On Wednesday morning, the police with a warrant invaded the Anderlecht Training Center and are investigating files, searching for money laundering and the existence of a criminal organization linked to football in Belgium.

When you think about it, it was utterly amazing that their bribing of the ref was quietly dealt with in the way it was. What was their subsequent punishment, a 2 year UEFA competition ban or something?

If we'd had been a Man Utd or an Arsenal, and one of those types of clubs cheated out of a playing in a European final, things would have been dealt with very differently.

Cheating bastards. And I feel for Cloughy too. Wasn't he convinced some foreign club bribed a ref in one of Derby's european defeats? Vaguely recall that.
