On 28 October 1967, Nottingham Forest played Manchester United at the City Ground (below) in front of a crowd of 49,946, this is still the record attendence today and will probably never be broken in our current location.

The wooden bench seats at the back of the old East Stand at the City Ground in the 1970's.

You can see the East Stand Terracing in front of the benches.

I sat in there just once.
As an early treat for my birthday in 1970.
We played Burnley and won 1-0.
