Oh just f**k off now Premier League.

So that's Chelsea and Man Utd who have been helped out directly to ensure they pass... while they went for Leicester but there utter incompetence caused them to fail.

Is it me or is there something fishy going on?

Are you suggesting corruption? No thats definitely just you mate. Don’t know how you could possibly think such a nasty thing of that lovely organisation.

I think what’s really annoyed them is they’ve tried to relegate both us and Everton and failed

In fairness to Leicester, they've also looked to get them relegated as well. It's just a combination of smart lawyers and incompetent law makers that meant they didn't.

I've mellowed that Leicester did not get punished - it is more that a) the rules are not fit for purpose and b) those administering the premier league are not fit for purpose that angers me. The double standards as to what Is allowed to be included as part of psr also gets me. No transparency, no integrity.

And ultimately If they fail on these basics, I can imagine they will completely fail to make any of the 115 charges against Man City stick. They must be piddling themselves with laughter as to what they are going up against

I have no problem with Leicester getting off, this year’s relegation battle will at least be a level playing field, how it should be. Also as has been said they desperately tried to do over Leicester but their own incompetence at writing the rules let them down.

Far more annoyed about Chelsea and Man Utd, whose excuses have been waved through on a nod and a wink and fully expect the same for Man City. Wouldn’t be a bit surprised though if in a few months we find the Anderson/Vlachodimos transfer investigated. Watch this space.

You've just made me wonder if the recent Newcastle bids for Elanga, at something like £50m, were nothing more than a way of the club demonstrating at some time in the future that the fee we paid for Anderson was market rate for a talented young prem player.

Surely the market price is what a club is willing to pay for a player. If a club wants to fritter money on a particular player for a certain amount then that is the business of the club and not the premier league.

Premier league don't bat an eyelid when big clubs pay over the odds for a player but when a 'small club' does it then that needs investigating.

The premier league has truly fecked up with these rules. If they don't want these so-called inflated fees, don't create a set of rules that force clubs to do it. Masters should clear off - condescending smug moron.

Just the £131m pre tax loss for Manchester United.
£312m over the last 3 years. How have they found £200m plus to deduct?

It does sniff, lasting 10 whole weeks. Be an interesting period whilst it reaches its conclusion.

Knocked down to around 4 or 5 if we're lucky and it'll end up as an suspended punishment anyway. Masters has shown his true colors on who he wants being punished all the time.

Do you reckon they’ll strip them of a few titles, but not actually do anything drastic now like points deductions/relegation. Just changed what’s been written about them but let’s them hold on to everyone
