^ yes and no.
Obviously should have converted more although not many clear chances, Taiwo at the end probably best. Encouraging is that 2 years ago we were at the bottom of that list practically every week.

So Ipswich are close to signing Armando Broja on loan with an obligation if they stay up for £30m.
That is the price for a Striker these days. Nketiah is better than Broja.

Fulham close to signing Joachim Anderson for £30m from Palace
Don’t understand why Palace have allowed that. Fulham done some decent business Emile Smith Rowe - £27m + 7m Ryan Sessognon - Free Jorge Cuenca - £6m Sander Berge - £20m + 5m Joachim Anderson - £30m including add ons.

PFA awards team of the year only features players from Arsenal, City and Liverpool and just to piss everyone off they've put Virgil at left back.
They wanted him in the side that much they've put him in a position he has never played. Imagine being a left back in the league seeing that hahaha.

Ipswich now bid £15m + add-ons for Jack Clarke of Sunderland.

Ipswich are definitely doing the right things if they want to stay up. Even if they go down will have a strong squad for doing a bounce back up.

They’ve seen the gap between the divisions and are trying the Forest method with a little more discretion. However I do wonder what their PSR figures might be given they have even less to play with than we did if their year in league 1 has an even lower credit limit.

We've seen with our own eyes how challenging the prem is for players who've come up. For promoted clubs I think the lure of being able to pick off your once rivals' best players is tempting but they soon find out the level is so high. And anyway, no matter who they sign, everything at Ipswich relies on their coach coming through for them. Without him they're lost.
