If we dont manage to land Spence do we think Richie is good enough for the PL? Not sure I have seen enough to make my mind up, its a big step for him.

Have a feeling he is going to be on the bench today with Aurier sold, Montiel injured and Aina in Africa.

Have to say that I didn't see that one coming.

Good luck to him if he is. Let's be honest, we don't really know anything about the lad.

I was lucky to see him twice whilst out in Qatar and thought he was excellent tbh.

He never struck me and not being able to play in the Prem.

TBH when I saw him in the Champ for us, I saw nothing more than an average second tier full back.

No way is he the level we need.
I reckon he will be off to MLS before there window shuts.

I think Nuno would play Omo there before Laryea

Can’t do worse then some of the full back performances this season.

Also I think we can’t loan anyone else out so if he does go back to the MLS he’ll have to be sold

Gives him the opportunity to put himself back in the shop window

I was at Fulham away in the Champ and he was far from average.

He wasn’t really given a proper run of games and was being compared to an in form Spence.

He was very good for Canada and clearly has something, however I suspect that you are right in that he will end up back in the MLS and Arter will likely fill that final 25 man spot(?).

I don't think we can change the 25 man squad again before the end of the season.

Otherwise what is the point of having to name one?

I thought you could fill gaps with out of contract players like we did with Ayew last year. But it’s difficult if we were forced to fill all the gaps with spare goalkeepers etc. Not sure if you can swap around like that but maybe you can if someone leaves.

He is a poor mans Aina.

We did well to get a fee in the end.
