I agree. Some fans returning on 3rd Oct looks rather ambitious at this point.

Government have jut said they will be reviewing. Can't see how govt can say cant meet in groups more than 6 people but allow thousands to watch a game of football.
And I completely disagree that relationship between club and supporters is at all time low. Way off the mark.
No owners of a football club are perfect, but you only have to look at quite a few other clubs and I think we are very lucky.

And the NFFC Supporters Trust? I wouldn’t ‘trust’ them to represent the fans - what’s wrong with the good ( old fashioned ) supporters club.
Very disappointed in the manner in which this has been handled by the club.

They certainly are. The more I think about the club not issuing a credit option for next season the more baffling it is.
Why don’t the club actually consult season ticket holders and ask what they feel should be the best options instead of some geeky supporters club??
The relationship between club and supporters is at an all time low!
Beat be careful because we’re not allowed to criticise the club in anyway on here.
*Your* opinion of the club might be at an all-time low, and that's your opinion and of course you're entitled to it.
But to suggest that the relationship between the club and all fans is at an all-time low is unmitigated garbage.

Your posts about not being able to criticise this club are frankly boring and I am sick of your non stop digs at me just because I am a glass half full guy. You are pushing me to the limit. If you don't like the forum then feel free to piss off somewhere else. If you decide to stay but you keep digging at me then you will go the same way as your mate yesterday. Up to you.
Hang on a minute!! Keep your sodding hair on.
We live in a democracy on here or do we not??!! Surely anyone is allowed to criticise and praise anything regarding the club in anyway they see fit.
I feel the club is at rock bottom regarding the relationship with fans and quite frankly it’s really annoyed me.
I’ll give praise where praise is due and say the club has done some cracking transfer business this summer and got a great deal for Cash even though we’re all sad to see a fantastic player leave.
And the fact they’ve kept Sabri on and given him his own back room team was a very clever move by the club. Sabri now has no excuses for if & when it goes tits up.
Anyway what about the digs you’ve made to me in the past, but I’m not allowed to moan about that am I??
And who the hell’s my mate??
No need to swear at me either, thought you were better than that!!

GreenMan I have come to the conclusion that you just come on here to antagonize people. Almost all the rows that breakout on this forum point back to you. Can you explain that?

No I can’t really, because I don’t think it’s true.
Maybe I’m an easy target?? Who knows.
But I very rarely have a go at other people’s post, but if someone does to mine I’ve got more than a right to reply especially if they call it garbage!!

I have to accept that the clubs communication over the past 7 months, with its fans, has been downright shocking.
I appreciate we are in unprecedented times and this whole scenario is as new to the club (all clubs actually) as it is to those of us who just want to go and cheer our team on to victory. I get that!
But is this not THE EXACT time that the club should be coming forward and talking to the fans more? to alleviate any concerns or worries? As mere mortals, we have had to more or less become prisoners in our own homes for a few months. We cannot do the normal things we used to do anymore. For how long is this likely to continue? Nobody knows. It could be a few more months, a year or more, maybe forever. We are like mushrooms. Kept in the dark. But unlike mushrooms, at least they are fed S**t. We are not even being fed that by the club.
The club have to open up to the fans and communicate with us. We are living our lives in hope. Hope that things return to normal. Hope that we can go back to the City Ground and sing our hearts out for the lads in red again. Hope we can get promoted back into the Premier League. Hope we will be able to sit in the seat many of you have paid good, hard earned money for. Hope to having a life again. Hope! Is it really so difficult for those with the money and power in the higher echelons of our club to recognise this? Are they so seriously off the mark in terms of the realities of life that they do not consider us fans to care about the club?, what is happening?, what is going on? Do we not matter to them at the moment as our hard earned cash isn't being spent at the City Ground? Have we become irrelevant?
The Supporters Trust! Who are they? When do they meet? How do I join them? No idea! Considering they were set up to 'represent' fans of Nottingham Forest Football Club, I have not heard one single thing from them about anything. They have never asked me for my opinion. I have never seen a report in the Post asking for comments on behalf of the Supporters Trust. When is their AGM? How do I apply to become Chair? How can they seriously represent my, or anybody else's opinions if they never put themselves forward? So whose opinions are they feeding back to the club? Certainly not mine, nor do I suspect anyone else's from this forum. So that means the 'fans opinions' are coming largely from those who sit at the head table of the Supporters Trust. One or two people, who may all have similar opinions to things, which may not agree with the vast majority of other fans, not being heard by the Supporters Trust. They may be sat there in awe of those facing them at the negotiating table. They may want to impress, they may be fearful of upsetting those big earners from the club who want 'our' opinion. I may be completely wrong about all that, but without any meaningful communication from the Supporters Trust, let alone the club itself, what am I supposed to believe?
It is time the club took a long hard look at how it has dealt with its fans over the past year or so. It is time it learnt what the club ACTUALLY means to thousands of us who wear the tree on the river badge with pride. They need to understand that true football fans cannot just switch off their affections for their clubs when it is not matchday. We live, breathe, dream, bleed for our club. It is time that Nicholas Randall QC and his cronies realised these facts and acted upon them now. To each and everyone of us, not to some quango group claiming to represent us all, because that quango isn't working.
I'll go back into my corner now

I'm a member of the Supporters Trust. I pay 10 quid or something a year for the privilege. They send me regular e-mails and invites to the meetings. I joined when they set up, in response to the way the club was being harmed back then by Fawaz. If I've joined Tricky then it should be easy for you to also. see https://nffctrust.org/
I've got to say my enthusiasm of them is dwindling. Last year they put out their 'lets stop singing tits fanny Forest' request, which I thought was modern day woke nonsense. Since then they claim to have had regular meetings with the club but as a fan base we still don't know whats happening with the redevelopment, or had any other form of communication re the long term strategy for the club. Did they not feel they needed to press the club on those matters? Surely it's what a supporters trust is there to do?
They have noble aims, things like improved disabled facilities etc, but to be honest, I think it'd be better if a bit more of the real fan base were represented - the fans who go to the games, have a few drinks, enjoy the matchday experience with their mates etc., rather than fans who want to change the world.
