There are going to be some serious bids in for matty in the summer. Big numbers. Hes getting better and better.

He looking like the best rb we have in a very long time. Who'd have thunk it at the beginning of this season? We should dredge up some of our posts from back then for a laugh.

It's strange that we seem to get bad decisions at certain grounds and WBA is one. Not just this year, or last year - I can remember going there in 1979 and we played them off the park. They scored first and then we turned it on but the strange thing that happened was at half time. Just ticking round to 45 mins when Kenny Burns picks the ball up 30 yards out and smashes a rocket into the top corner. The goal was disallowed as the ref blew for half time as the ball was in the air???? It didn't matter as we won 5-1 but was annoying at the time.

I went to that game, police were throwing forest fans out for celebrating when we scored, quite a lot of room after the 5th one went in.

Just gotta hope we go up because Cash, Lolley and Worrell are guaranteed to be off. Lolley will end up at Villa regardless of division they are in. Maybe even Brice could go. Be sad to break that lot up but that's our reality. Be like the Hart days all over again but at least this time we'd have money to spend.

Legs, you're describing a potential mass suicide event. Luckily I don't think that you're right because I believe that our owner is in it for the long term. Destroying the team doesn't fit that, thank God.

Unfortunately it's not only what the club wants, if we dont get promoted nd players get tempted with offers from the league above nd on better salaries...not much can be done...

Well sadly you're right Malta. I keep forgetting just how corrupted our game has become by the Premier league's control of resources aided, of course, by the FA and Sky.

If Forest have to sell then I'm sure it will only be for the right price which should of course be very high for our best players.

we will also have to trust the sentiments of the likes of Cashy and Wozza, who have both said they love it here and want to play for Forest, irrespective of interest from outside clubs. Lets be honest, AC Milan were sniffing around Matty and he wasn't interested!

Hegemony.

Fulham. Leeds. Brentford. All beaten.

WBA should have beaten them.

How many other teams can say that?

Quality 1st team.

But can we keep it fit enough and therefore consistent enough to stay in the top 6 or challenge for the 2nd spot. This team almost deserves the 2nd spot.

But they've tossed away some howlers of games. Points just thrown away. And not because Forest were completely blown away by a 'better' team. I'm saying that Forest have capitulated and conspired against themselves.

An injury to Sow is one thing. But they've had all Summer and January to get someone in to cover. The other rookie error of recruitment was to 'only' have Grabban as the lead striker all season so far. (Can we count Mir as back up?)

Getting Walker back was a no-brainer. But we could have had ACM/Striker and DCM scouted and installed.

Maybe for the 'step up' in quality further reductions in wages turnover will be required. Player availability vs wages cost vs Forest's wages turnover. I can see that being a complex equation.

The Coach wanted his 'surprise.' Da Costa was his 'surprise?' *look unconvinced.

I can see at least another 5-8 players leaving in the Summer. The 2nd string aren't able to even make a fist of it e.g. vs Charlton. You can't just 'turn up' at Championship games. Those days have been gone for some time. You can't get away with just 2 or 3 quality players. You now need a quality 1st team AND even that isn't enough. The quality needs to bleed into the 2nd string as well.
