Nottingham Forest - Derby County

Worrall got MOTM from Sky, the sponsors? MOTM at the ground was Silva, both were excellent. They were all good, another display showing togetherness in the squad. Good crowd, good all round!

Lawrence should have been sent off, straight red but the ref bottled the call.

Maybe he’s thinking he dropped a bollock by coming here so he’s checking he still has the other one?

A very rare goal from outside the box for Grabban yesterday, that doesn't happen very often.

Good performance from Forest, thought 1-0 slightly flattered them, we were clearly the better team despite it being a tight game.

If you enjoyed the remembrance display from yesterday please take time to have a read of Forza.

The creativity, thought and effort that went into it is amazing. The back story is simply beautiful.

I thought Grabban was immense again yesterday, people used to call him lazy but only Silva and Yates appeared to cover more ground.

Derby had some excellent chances to get something from the game. We kept a clean sheet but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Lawrence and Marriott ought to have scored. Had Yates been sent off then there would have been some nashing of teeth but it wouldn’t have been overly surprising. Sometimes the little things go your way, I think they did yesterday and you need a little luck if you’re gonna get promoted.

Nine games to go until the window reopens, it would be great if we could still have the same gap between us and Fulham come 1 January.

One thing I forgot to mention is the Derby fans cheering Lawrence, that really pi$$ed me off, I work with a few of them and have lost more than a little respect for them.

The bloke is an absolute scumbag.

Yates. Never a sending off. Studs were slightly up but he stopped before he cleaned out their player. Was there contact? It didn't look it from the highlights. So he got a caution instead for exuberance with Watson talking it out with the ref'.

Derby 'stamping/raking' Rib' was a clear sending off. He's got his studs ON Rib's leg/calf for a very nasty tackle indeed.

'They' had that initial shot that Samba saved. It was a good save. And that Marriot chance at the end, one of the few times that ball had eluded Worrall nearby. So yeah, in a fantasy world things could have been different.

Equally so, in another fantasy world, Forest could have won it by even more goals when for an intense period they hammered Derby.

Amoebi had a couple or 3 of great strikes that were on and the latter off goal but not that far away. He's doing decent despite being written off before he got into a Forest shirt. Forest seemed to lose some momentum when he went off.
