Just listening to Aitor at the training camp he states that at the end of the season he knew he wanted to Change the team & change the players.
Has he just expressed that badly or is it his intention to change everybody that started last season pre Christmas?
It makes me think that the team that starts against Bristol will be full of the newbies or is that too risky?
I suppose it’s just as risky having 1/2 new and 1/2 old?
Just the way he says he ‘knew at the end of the season etc etc.

He's right. The team failed to control games and pick up points. Not all their fault, they lack flair and quality. He's changing that.
No time for passengers either.

Change was definitely needed and the amount that he's managed to accomplish in one and a half transfer windows is remarkable. But it's not done yet. A goalie, full backs either side, ideally a holding midfielder and one if not two strikers are needed to take us to the next level.
Ideally most if not all of those will be in place before we go abroad and start our programme of friendly matches so they can start getting used to each other and how they all play. Pre-season is the time to do that so an understanding can be built before the big kick off.

The encouraging thing for me is that it certainly doesn't look like "dull" football that he's been accused of in the past

Looks to me like a strong pivot, 2 attacking full backs, and the 3 behind the forward will all be quick and good on the 1v1
We will be very difficult to defend against and we should win many more away games IMO
Quality of striker we get will be pivotal

It’s quite incredible to be honest.
I have never heard of it before (or perhaps not taken note).
A whole team replaced (almost) and fair play to him and the owners for having the courage, commitment and knowledge.

It looks as though there will not be a single player who started the first game of last season who is going to start the first game of this season.
One thing that tells me is our s**t Warburtons signings were.

getting hammered by preston before the end of the jan transfer window turned out to be a great thing.
