Manchester United - Nottingham Forest

I actually really enjoyed the game as I was completely unstressed by it but f**k me how can their second goal be allowed to stand. The away support were 100% correct with "3-2 to the referee!". I mean, they spent the rest of the broadcast sucking Bruno Fernandes's arse. Everyone and their sister said it was handball and they shrugged it off and waxed lyrical about how great the Scum were with a Casemiro presentation at the end and a massive media applause for the giant that is Manchester Utd.

We were very ragged at the end but I thought we played well and were totally robbed. Hopefully next season we have recovered our Mojo and the twats of Manchester have reverted to type.

Anderson was pretty special today. Also MGW a little unlucky not to get a couple of goals. Those two really work well together. Angry Wasp Dom very good today too.

But yes, as you would say. The Premier League is bent. So why should we care.

Chicago: Still yelling at the television.

Back from an enjoyable day in Manc land. Thoughts.

Yet another ground far bigger than ours where you can get a perfect 5G signal. The CG is prehistoric in so many ways.

Cant fault our effort today but we do look a bit exhausted. Good job we didn’t need anything from the game. If we are as careless with the ball and defend like we did next season we will get relegated for certain, Yanited could have had 5 or 6 easily.

Ref was terrible and that decision was bizarre, pretty certain it will go down as an official mistake not that it means anything. However we've had VAR decisions go our way recently in matches where it was more critical so cant be too angry.

We will miss Anderson badly. Should MGW go ((don’t think he will) we would miss him more.

Hutchinson was poor. Bakwa frustrates the heck out of me, got the skill but so passive, waits for the ball to come to him, not good enough.

We need a younger more mobile version of Wood.

Sangare when he came on made a few delightful passes but also got caught out on multiple occasions, don’t think he was fit. McAtee looked useful.

There is a reason Milenkovic isnt a centre forward. Entertaining stuff though.

I just can't anymore.
One more game and then we can reset.

Yesterday was the first game in ages ive just sat and watched it for what it is, an entertaining game of football. I was more upset about West Ham losing, as I really thought they could rouse themselves and pip an overconfident Spurs to 17th. I really need to detach myself from the stress of following Forest.

Shocking header by the way from Williams for their first goal.

What the hell was he thinking about?

Thought Morato was good again and I would keep him around for next season.

Not first choice but he seems happy being third or fourth choice which is a good thing.

He is improving and he can improve more.

I’ve been one of his biggest critics but it’s difficult to argue with that.

The only question I would have is does he need to play week in, week out, and know he’s going to, to get this level of performance from his regularly?

That's a good point. His recent upturn in form has definitely coincided with a longer run in the team. I was really pleased for him to have bagged yesterday. Just a shame it was overshadowed instantly by that abomination of a refereeing decision.

To me it still feels he makes rash decisions. He came hurtling across on one occasion yesterday for a ball he was not favourite to win. The trouble is he doesn't have the pace to get himself out of trouble.

I agree, he's always been a good defender, just makes more poor decisions than your average CB, luckily hasn't had any that have cost us lately. There was one vs Newcastle that he did something similar.

Think he's a useful squad given he's willingness to be a rotational guy but also think we could easily replace and would prefer more minutes for Abbott and Cunha over him.

Im being realistic now. Im hearing " Give Morato more game time", "give Ndoye a chance", "play Bakwa".

How long do you want to give these players. How many poor performances and results are they going to cost us?
How many managers will lose their jobs waiting for them to come good?
Are you happy to be in 19th place whilst they are making mistakes?

Im not writing off all of them by any means but I am saying if we are relying on these players as our core squad next season I suspect we will be in trouble again.

But who's to say new players we bring in will be instant successes? We just don't know. We're not lucky enough to be able to shell out on a lot of sure-fire hits.

Blimey - even Dermot Gallagher reckons the ref got it wrong yesterday. He almost never disagrees with decisions.
