Anyone else think Dan Ndoye could be a good right back (Matty Cash conversation style). He does work hard defensively for a winger and gets around the pitch well, we just want a bit more from him attacking. That said, his header was great in the build up to Jesus' goal.

Anyone else think Dan Ndoye could be a good right back (Matty Cash conversation style). He does work hard defensively for a winger and gets around the pitch well, we just want a bit more from him attacking. That said, his header was great in the build up to Jesus' goal.

Think his ideal position would wing back with a 3 man defence. He has played wing back for Switzerland a few times I believe. He is a hugely frustrating player to watch but as you correctly say above he still makes very important contributions defensively and set up our winner last night. Definitely wrong to give the typical fan response of “gerrim off he’s s***” just feel he could do much better.

That must have been Eindhoven.

What a trip that was!

One night in Amsterdam then the train to Eindhoven the following morning.

A freezing cold day but inside the stadium there were heaters on the under side of the roof to keep us nice and warm! That is what happens when you are sponsored by Philips.

Davo bagged a brace that night and we won the match. 

Slept outside Eindhoven railway station on a bench because the station closed then took the train back to Hook of Holland for the ferry the next morning.

Re Ndoye I do wonder if he is suffering a bit as a result of the system and role he is being asked to play? As pointed out he does tend to get around the pitch and work hard defensively which is probably why, despite fans criticism of his performances lately, he still gets picked.  IMO it’s worth remembering he’s had an inexperienced fb behind him when he’s played on the right and one, in Neco, who likes to bomb forward when he’s played on the left so he’s perhaps having to do more defensively than he is used too.
