Am I the only one who is enjoying it and thinks that we are playing some good stuff?

We have created 40 chances in the last 2 league games and scored 1 goal, is that Ange's fault? That chance Wood missed yesterday (that header) is it Ange's fault?

I think he will get time and I think he deserves some time.

I haven't forgotten how S**t we were at the end of last season which was long before Ange arrived and don't get me started on West Ham at home.

No, I am enjoying it too. 

The first half against Betis was the best I can remember seeing us play. To go there and dominate them for 45 minutes, creating numerous chances was amazing. 

Arsenal, 1 day training with the whole squad. Think that can be written off.
Swansea, changed the whole team, missed a load of chances, switched off with 10 to go and got punished.
Burnley, dominated for parts, their keeper made several very good saves, f**k up for their goal, but we definitely deserved to win.
Yesterday, too many changed to the starting 11? Only he knows what the fitness would have been after playing in testing conditions on the Wednesday night. I've not seen it back, but if Dominguez hasn't been touched he's f****d us over trying to con the ref. Poor defending letting their player get in behind easily. Wood still had a free header he missed in the first half. Second half their keeper made a few decent saves and Wood misses an even easier chance. For 20 minutes they couldn't get out of their own half.

It is worrying we haven't actually put any of these games to bed though. 

The same people pining for Iraola and Glasner would have been screaming for them to be sacked after they failed to win in their first 9 games.

Some of our football has been sublime and the number of chances being created is incredible.

However I do of course accept that we have to put points on the board which we have failed to do so far.

Once again I haven't forgotten how poor we were at the end of last season. Those shocking performances against Everton, Brentford, Leicester and Chelsea plus West Ham this season. So there was a problem long before Ange rolled into town.

I wish we'd made this appointment after the end of last season so the transfer window had Ange's input and he had pre-season to start bedding in his style of play, rather than one week.

I think he's had some bad luck so far too - losing Aina and Murillo to injury and having Wood revert to his late Newcastle form yesterday.

Hopefully we'll get Murillo and Luiz back after the break, not lose any more key players to injury and can push on and start taking some of these chances we're creating.

Strange game yesterday. The minute i walked into the WFCG there was little positivity anywhere but plenty of apathy. 

The biggest evidence of this was that with it being Ange's first game as manager at home, i expected some kind of crowd reaction but there was NOTHING from what I could see or hear in the Lower Bridgford.

Ange may not be the choice of the fans but it's not his fault that the previous manager left the club. As for the game there was huffing and puffing but i did not really see anything to encourage me as a fan.

To be fair, there have always been games likes this over the years but i got the feeling of a sense of entitlement amongst some of us. Just my opinion.

Agree with that. All this loudest fans in the league stuff was always nonsense, we were largely silent for 20 years in the Championship. Got galvanised by Cooper and the us against the world mentality that Sunderland had yesterday. Unfortunately our fans are now used to it and expect (probably correctly) that we should be rolling these teams over. Thought we were largely supportive second half when going for it and a goal would have totally changed things. But yes apathy rules unless we show on the pitch.

I'm with you Sniff, agree with every word. Comments on here in the last 12 hours are so disappointing. I thought we were a club who backed our managers, players, owners, club?

You are not alone. 

There seems to be a fair few perpetuating a myth that we are wide open at the back and Ange has not progressed but the goals we’ve conceded are nothing of the sort. They are mainly a result of individual players not doing their jobs. 

Some of the players have either (1) not maintained the same levels as last season or (2) come in with reputations that don’t appear to have been warranted.

Betis away isn't the same as Sunderland at home. The days of Clough putting the same team out every match and saying 'Let them worry about us' are long gone.

I am sure we all have "off days" in our jobs when we aren't quite 100% and this may well be the case with a new manager and a considerable amount of new players getting used to things.

I am also pretty sure it will click soon and someone will get a proper hiding BUT, as fans, we have a responsibility to get behind the team and lift them. Likewise, the team should lift the fanbase - easily done with a thundering tackle, an equisite piece of skill (a la Anderson v Betis) etc.

Keep the faith, let the manager & team bond. Onwards and upwards!
