It was never in doubt that you were coming back as soon as Marinakis took over.

Who knows, anything is possible with these people in charge.

Enjoy!

I remember you telling me more or less those exact words one year ago.

It takes a very patient man to sit on a club for a year wash the problems through and then build from there, the temptation to pile in early doors must be pretty strong.

Looks like a good combination to me QC's are notoriously patient they work in a system where a year is a month to anyone else and with EM he will know where the money is to be earned in his football empire, this is an impressive deal we have parked 3m a year in FFP terms we have a potential 20m talent that is costing probably little more than it would cost to pay Lichaj and if it doesn't quite come off the financial burden isn't crippling

With the obvious sell on potential as well think Burke poor season still worth what they paid in reality there is a max £7m down side if you ask me and when you consider that you can start to see some thought has gone into this.

Really smart getting these two in early, you sit down with other players now and selling decent wages now big bonus for promotion becomes 10x more attractive to the likes of Marriot Maddison or whoever we are trying to bring in, overnight we are a completely different proposition to prospective signings

Its a bloody shame we can't get hold of Kevin McDonald now he would be perfect to marshall these two kids through their informative games in the championship, Watson now looks very important and Colback would would also look a far better prospect than a couple of days ago

Such a great feeling around the club from the top to the bottom. It’s a good time to be a Nottingham Forest fan

Good post Turkish, I very much agree that after signing Carvalho and Goncalves we are a much better proposition for potential new arrivals.

Any striker who gets linked with a move to Forest now must be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of playing together with these 2 Portuguese lads, not to mention Lolley.

Agree...not just to play with these new guys, but the money spent shows that this time we are serious about promotion...
